It has been nearly two hours since we have introduced ourselves to one another. She wont talk to me. I have tried multiple times but she just wont answer me. After asking her something she is either quite or makes a mumbling sound that can't be made out as any word known in the American English dictionary!
She has just been sitting where she was earlier when I first came into the room. It's got to be uncomfortable down there. I asked her if she'd like to get up and sit on the bed or even the couch, but she wont answer me.
I'm glad I drank some blood earlier because if not I would not be able to handle the fact that I still have not eaten my dinner I made before I realized that she was up. I'm glad I do not need to depend on food to live because if I did I just might have dropped dead by now.
I know that she is physically fine because her breathing is normal even more than when I first came into the room. Huh Strange? You would think that someone in her situation would be nervous or scared. I sure in the hell would be! Quite lying to yourself Nate, you know you wouldn't be scared. You'd have killed them by now. Not just sitting like this girl.
"Lily?....Lily?" guess she still doesn't want to talk. All well. If she doesn't want to communicate with me and she just wants to be stubborn and ignore me then I'll just leave her here till she would like to get back with the world.
"I know that you can hear me and that you are just ignoring me, so I'm just going to tell you this. I'm going to reheat up my dinner that is cold now because even if you want to stay in here all day, I would rather not. So, when you feel like talking or even acknowledging the fact that you can move and do things such as getting up or simply rotating yourself and not act like a statue, then feel free to join me down stairs. I think you can find your way around. If not, then just shout my name and i'll come find you okay?" I asked her and still nothing. Ugh fine if she wants to be like that then so be it.
I get up from the computer chair that I have placed on the other side of the bed in the corner of the wall. I know probably not the best spot but it makes it easier with out having to worry about bumping into the table and chair when I am not paying attention. Hitting my toes on the legs of the table or the chair hurts more than anything. I don't understand why that is even though I've been alive long enough that I should have learned by now.
I stretch out my muscles and a loud moan type noise exits my mouth. After I reach as far as I can backwards I lean forward and reach for the floor. I stand back up straight and lift my arms and place my right hand on my jaw and the left one on the top of my head and I jerk my head to the right. I hear a few cracks and switch my hands and then do the same like I did to the right side of my head but this time I jerked my head to the left. There was even more cracks this time. I felt the vibration go from my neck to the base of my spine. Boy that felt good.
I leave the room and head down the long spiral stairway that will lead me down back to the kitchen where my yummy food waits for me.
Walking down the stairs gave me time to think about Lily. It's so strange, she acted scared when I first came in but then when we introduced ourselves to one another she seemed to calm down almost instantly. Like there was nothing to be afraid of anymore as if she knew that she didn't have to worry.
I wonder why? Maybe she knew something that I didn't. I'll find out why someway or another, that is if she ever comes out and talks to me, which I doubt will happen anytime soon.
I finally reach the end of the stair case and head straight to the kitchen. I grab my now cold food from off the table and head to the microwave. I get to the microwave and I run hand across the numbers on the right side of the microwave try to read which one says three and zero. Then I skim my fingers across the bottom to look for the start button.
