confession letter ; taegyu

saturday morning, taehyun woke up feeling his cat purring beside him. he petted his cat until it got off from his bed, hungry. standing up with messy hair, taehyun fed hobak before going out from his room. taehyun then opened the refrigerator to get and drink his favourite strawberry milk, but frowned at what he saw. their refrigerator is almost looking empty, only the containers of leftover foods and an opened sachet of mayonnaise are in there inside. he sighed and go to his room, deciding to take a bath to stop by the nearest store and grab some groceries.

after 10 minutes, he walked to the door and shouted before leaving, informing his sister. "bye noona, i'm gonna go get groceries now!"

inside the grocery store, taehyun grabbed a cart and started strolling around. after he put all the needs in the cart, he went to the counter to pay for the items and went back home.

after arranging all the groceries inside the refrigerator, he went to his bed and laid down there for half an hour trying to sleep.

taehyun's phone light up, showing a notification on the screen. it's a message from their group chat. he got up and sat straightly on his bed and read the messages;

soobchoi : GUYS
soobchoi : y'all wanna go shopping n' do stuffs rn ??

taehyun replied agreeing with his hyung, who was also followed by replies from their three other friends. feeling excited, he got off from his bed and walked to his closet to find just a simple shirt and pants. he went to the bathroom and changed his clothes.

after that sleepover incident with beomgyu, the older doesn't seem to know that he's been running 'round inside taehyun's mind since that night. beomgyu also noticed that the younger is kind of trying to distance himself a bit sometimes from him whenever they're hanging out, but didn't overthink about it much since he knows that taehyun and him are not really that close yet.

taehyun's wearing a skinny jeans, pairing his white shirt under his pastel blue cardigan. he grabbed his phone and announced to the gc that he's all ready to go, soobin saw his chat and replied where they're all going to meet.

after arriving at the mall, taehyun saw kai sitting on the bench near the entrance, scrolling thru his phone.

"kai!" he ran to the boy and sat beside him, "oh, hello taehyun! beomgyu hyung said that they're still on their way here", kai replied, making taehyun nod.

after maybe 5 minutes, the three choi's have arrived.

taehyun saw beomgyu walking towards them with the other two, wearing a pastel pink sweater, matching his top's color. he was fascinated by how the older killed the look, he looks like a goddess~ but okay um, we look like a coup—

his thoughts were interrupted by a hand ruffling his hair, it was beomgyu.

"hey taehyun, you okay there?" beomgyu asked the younger, obviously worried. taehyun didn't even noticed that he already spaced out.

"o-oh? yeah, yes i'm fine, don't worry." taehyun said, beomgyu just smiled at him. kai and taehyun stand up and the five started to walk around the mall.

while wandering around the building, they saw a photobooth. deciding to take a photo all together, they entered the shop.

while testing the camera shutter, they positioned theirselves in front of the camera. taehyun and beomgyu at the back while yeonjun, soobin and kai at the front, kneeling so they won't cover the two behind them.

after maybe four shots or more, they decided to do a 'family concept'.

"oooh, these two would look good as the parents" yeonjun said looking behind them, raising his brows, obviously teasing taehyun and beomgyu.

"oh shut up, hyung" taehyun mumbled, only for beomgyu to hear. nevertheless, the three started to pose and act like children looking up at beomgyu and taehyun who's supposed to be their parents for this shoot. the two suddenly looked at each other and laughed shyly, but then taehyun started to smile and wrap his arm around beomgyu's waist, startling beomgyu but the older still smiled sweetly for the photo nonetheless.

after the shoot, they printed the pictures then got out of the photobooth shop. the group of friends got five copies of each photos taken to keep it to  themselves. "we look so cute here, hyungs!" kai giggled, showing the four their family concept picture.

beomgyu, who's been spacing out since earlier, only heard muffled laughs and gibberish words. plus the red crimsom shade in his face is still there, and all of it is taehyun's fault.

taehyun never failed to make him feel like living in a daydream, even on a cloud nine. you can call it cliché or what, beomgyu doesn't care because it is the younger's effect on him. he still can feel taehyun's arm around his waist, also the butterflies is still in his stomach. snapping out from his little bubble, his clouded thoughts disappeared, making beomgyu slightly slap his face and fasten up his pace, keeping up with the others. what the hell! get yourself together, beomgyu!

the others except taehyun noticed beomgyu spacing out but doesn't bother to ask since they already knew what is it about. soobin, kai and yeonjun just laughed to themselves, wondering when will beomgyu and taehyun realize and admit their feelings for each other.

noticing that it is already night time, they decided to go home.

"today was fun, gosh" soobin said, earning a nods and giggles from the others.

they bowed and said goodbyes to each other and then left the place. taehyun rode the bus with his yeonjun hyung, since he really don't like going back home alone at this hour. except that one time when he walked beomgyu home from the park; he don't care even if he need to walk home alone, he need to make sure that beomgyu is safe. and he did that because he would literally do anything just for the older.

yeonjun and taehyun sat on the bus, reminiscing the happenings earlier.

"y'know, you two are kinda oblivious with each other, no?" yeonjun suddenly stated, making taehyun avert his gaze to his hyung.

"what? oblivious? w-who?" taehyun thinks he knew who yeonjun is talking about, but still asked about it since he may be wrong.

"oh, taehyun-ah. you literally know who i am talking about right now" yeonjun scoffed then let out an airy laugh, "we've been bestfriends for almost years now, you can't hide things from me. besides, you're not really good at hiding things".

w-what? taehyun might or might not be confused right now.

"you lied to me when you said that you don't have a crush on beomgyu anymore, don't you?"

now, taehyun seems like he lost an ability to open his mouth.
