Arriving at the motel, you and Char get ready to check in.
"NO WAY LOOK." Char shouts, aggressively showing you her phone, "It's 11:11! Make a wish."
"I wish that... we make it out of here alive." You shrug, sarcastically.
"Well if you say it out loud it's not going to happen, duh." Char expressed, rolling her eyes.
Walking up to the front desk a woman in her mid-thirties rings you up.
"How can I help you today, ladies?" She asks, with a smile.
"A single room, two night stay." Char informs her.
"Okay, that'll be $75." She tells the both of you.
Char looks around in her purse, "Ah... oh! There it is, here you go." She smiles, handing her the cash.
"Alright," She started, turning around and grabbing a set of keys on the wall, "There's the key to your room. Second floor, Room 13." She tells you, handing you the keys.
"Thank you." Char smiles.
As the two of you walk up the stairs, located outside of the building, you realize something, "We don't have anything to put in our room."
"Yeah but at least we have a roof over our heads, you ungrateful piece of trash." Char scolded, unlocking the door.
"You right, my bad, luv. Thanks for paying for the motel." You laugh, pushing Char inside. "Home sweet home!"
"At least you're getting used to things here." Char says, getting up from the floor, dusting herself off.
"Well for now... I'm still expecting to go home and play my championship volleyball game, get a scholarship, and become a professional. And get my cruzaley back." You sigh, plopping onto the couch, rubbing your temples.
"Well of course, although I'm not so sure about getting back cruzaley." Char laughed sitting down next to you. "Wanna watch something? I brought my phone charger in my purse, we can watch a movie on our phones. Did you get to bring your headphones?"
"Always. They're on me 24/7. I watch them like a hawk." You tell her, pulling them out of your pocket and tossing them onto the table.
After the movie, a few hours later it's now around 1:30 p.m.
"I'm gonna go outside I might now be back until later, can I grab the spare key?" You ask her, holding up your hand.
"Sure thing, buddy boy." She replies, pulling the keys out of her pocket and throwing them to you.
Catching them, you walk out the door and lock it behind you. Pulling up your hood, you make your way down the road to the gas station.

"Welcome to Rocket Gas." A teenage boy greets you.
"So, are you guys still looking to hire?" You ask, walking over to the register, laying your elbows on the counter.
"Uh, yeah I think so. Let me get you an application." He tells you, scrimmaging around a pile of papers. "I think this is the one, here." He says, handing you a single paper and pen.
