Part 20; Your final words

I looked around and felt very well how can I describe it...like light headed. I looked at the time and it was 9pm!

What happened. Oh wait... Oh no I prayed that was nightmare but it wasn't. Sarah was already sleeping and I noticed Ace drinking in the bar. He seemed very drunk at the point he was singing I think.

I need to turn him in now. That's all I know for sure.
right now. I have a plan. I made it up just looking at this dirty men and knew what I have to do.

I quickly slammed my door open and tried to make as much noise as possible. I grabbed a bag and put essential products inside.

As I walked outside my first step succeeded getting Valentino's reaction "you woke up!" He tried to whisper but almost fell ten times attempting to walk to me.

I didn't see him with same eyes and walked backward.

I quickly ran off to the garage and grabbed any car keys of his I found. "Open it for me." I told the guards and they let me. I started the car when I heard.

"DON'T LET HER LEAVE!" I raced the entrance which was slowly closing but no bullets fired. I scratched the gate but made it out. I opened the rear mirrors and noticed Ace chasing me.

"Perfect." I raced to the warehouse and needed this to be over now!

I was a few minutes from the warehouse and knew It was time. I parked in the middle of the road and so did Valentino. "Why are you going to leave the city!" he yelled.

"Come with me!" I yelled.

"And leave my car here!" he yelled back.

"Then you don't want to explain. Fine." I walked back to the car and he quickly opened the passenger door.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Why ask. Trust me. It's hard for me not you!" I turned on the car and hit the gas.

"Can I explain!" He looked at me.

"Explain in a minute. I looked at the gates. "Angelina." I told security.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Wait!" I smiled.

"I know this place." He looked at me and I covered his mouth causing him to fall asleep.

I drove to the front of the gates and took him over my shoulders. "I'm sorry but whatever they do to you, you deserve it." The doors opened and the man that gave me this order mouth dropped.

"You did it!" He said.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Frances Da Vinci, at your service." He smiled.

"Your French. Now I want to know everything why you need him. Before I hand him over."

"Of course." He walked to his office and I tied Valentino down in a flower pot.

"Year's back me and Ace did a business. Which he didn't complete leading to my families murder. He murdered my Wife because I supposedly didn't pay for a favor he did. My children and parents were murdered here because he didn't complete his plan, all because I didn't pay. That's why I'm retired. My old days are gone."

I didn't say anything. "Can I stay here until he wakes up. We became you can say close and I feel like I owe him an explanation." I said.

"Of course. But listen Este-."

"Angelina."

"Listen Angelina, whatever Explanation you think you owe him he's not who you met. I know this man, he's a monster. He makes people think he's good until he stabs you in the heart."

"I know... it's a personal reason."

"Well than of course you can stay. There's a guest room set up just let me call in a maid to take you."

"Wait!" Hs put down the phone. "What do you plan to do with him?"

"Well have hostage for now. Get his family to pay me some money than leave this country with his head."

"So you won't kill him yet?"

"No, he will wish I did." He picked up his phone again and I looked back at Valentino sleeping.

"Your room is 4 look for the number 4 on a door." He said.

"Thank you." I smiled and closed the office.
I walked the halls and finally found the number 4.

I instantly closed to the door and dug my head into the pillow.

I've never felt this way for any man I've killed. This is the first man I slept with, the first I kidnapped, the first felt guilty.

Even though I saw him kill a woman with my eyes. But there's this little thought that wants to hear him out.

Then there's Estella who wants to run knowing this life is to complicated for her.
