Part 38; Love

Angelina's POV

I woke up in a small hospital room I think...this one was more different than most. Well, the room was much bigger, there was no window, and no window to the outside hospital.

I had a bunch of shots inside my veins and can't remember what happened. I remember going into Elijah's room and taking a pill. He kind of went on me but I don't remember if we did anything. It was so weird.

I wonder if whatever pill he gave me forced me to go into a hospital bed maybe the baby. Oh no the baby!
"LET ME OUT!" I yelled not moving since I didn't want anything to happen to the baby and I know whatever is going into my body is possibly helping me.

I heard running from outside and Sarah ran into the room. "They let you out!" I yelled at her.

"No, we're at Valentino's mansion." She said and I looked at her seriously.

"I'm forced to be here?" I asked with the handcuff of my arm.

"No, your not princess." Valentino walked uncuffing me.

"You were shot!" I pointed at his arm.

"Yes but it's just a scratch. I'm more worried about you and our baby." He rubbed my belly but I felt bad.

"Can you give us a second Sarah?" She nodded and left us two alone.

"The baby might not be yours." I reminded him not wanting to break his heart if it isn't his.

"I know, but if you allow me...I will be the father of this baby even if it isn't mine." He rubbed my small baby bump.

"Is she or he okay?" I asked.

"The doctor said you both will be fine. You just need to rest these couple of days and eat more." He smiled.

"I'm sorry." I looked down at my belly. "I didn't know you were a good person I'm sorry for-."

"That's the past know. We have more things to worry about. I want to eliminate the easiest threat and that's Carter." He told me.

"I can call him if you want?" I offered even though deep down I didn't want to.

"No, rest you can do that tomorrow." He said.

"Now there are some people who want to see you." He smiled and Kalob and Kio ran in.

"SUPRISE!" They showed up with a cute baby girl and baby boy set.

"Awwww!" I smiled and they gave it to me. "Thank you, guys."

"It was a little too soon, you guys didn't even give me and Luna a chance." Kalob laughed.

"But congrats guys." Kio smiled.

"Can we talk to you for a minute?" Kalob asked Valentino looked at me and I nodded.

I looked at the cute suits and my heart felt warmth. I think this baby will actually do some good. The only thing is it will be born into a world full of trouble.

His/her mom an assassin and his/her father is a Mafia boss. Funny.

But she/ he might be born into a world of trouble but he will be the most protected child in the world. I will make sure any person who wants to harm this baby dies 10x worse than what they wanted to do.

Valentino opened the door and smiled. I smiled back but I couldn't look at him the same knowing what I did. "I forgive you." He kissed me and grabbed my chin lightly. "Want to get out of here?"

"For everything in the world." I smiled. He grabbed a wheelchair and pulled it to me.

As I was putting my legs down he stopped me by carrying me. "That's not necessary!" I giggled.
