Part 24; good news

Carter's pov

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!" I asked Frances in the phone waiting for the doctors to tell me what's wrong.

"SHE'S CRAZY! There's things I can't say on phone. But she almost killed me." He yelled.

"WHAT!"

"Yes! She got out of taking with Valentino and was crazy. 2 accidents happened." He lowered his voice as in accidents...

"Sorry about this Frances. Let me see what's wrong." She has been acting weird not like herself!

"Don't worry you guys did your job your free from me. But be careful too many people know about Anglina." He hung up.

I looked at the doctors walk back and forth but couldn't take my mind off Estella. I've never seen her life this. Especially killing a innocent woman.

Whatever happened in Valentinos house I have to find out. But before I have to find out what's wrong. "Excuse me." I asked the doctor.

"Yes?"

"I've been waiting for some exams you took on Angelina Clark but you said it would take 1 hour and it's been 2."

"Let me check and I will be back." I watched him walk away and hoped they didn't do anything to my baby.

What if they drugged her, that can make up the crazy behavior, or what if they hurt her. I knew she would make it out alive because she's stronger than me.

But if I would have known sending her to this case was going to make her return like this I wouldn't have never sent her.

The doctor walked my way and I instantly stood up. "Good news she's awake. Even greater news she's pregnant."

Words couldn't form in my mouth because I didn't spend anytime with her. But a couple weeks ago we had sex. But I told her to buy pills. "I-Is she awake?" I asked.

"Yes, you can see her right now." he walked to the room where she was in and opened it.

"Did you tell her yet." I whispered.

"No." The doctor whispered.

"What happened." She asked

"Can I tell her?" I asked.

"Of course."

"Your pregnant." I sat down knowing its my kid because she would never sleep with a criminal.

Her eyes widened and her smile turned into a frown. "It's-." She looked at the doctor.

"I'm leaving now but you have to stay here at least this night because you've over gown a great deal of stress which can even lead to miscarriage." The doctor walked out.

"What's wrong we always dreamed of a baby?"

"But you have to understand now is not the moment. I took on a dangerous case. You know how it is."

"What if you retire and stay being an assistant."

"NO!" She yelled.

"Breath Estella. I know being an assassin is a personal thing for you. But we can have a normal life with a baby."

"Let me think about it carter."

"Think about keeping the baby?!"

"No Carter, you know I would never do that. But I mean changing my life. I can be a mother in the day just like my normal job. I can hire nannys. But I made a pact to myself and that ridding all criminals from this world"

I've been in love with Estella more than any other woman but there are days she scares me and our future together.
