"This is your bedroom." Ericka the chef, who I think is best friend of Ace but I'm still investigating, told me.
"It's nice." I smiled looking at a mid size bedroom with just a bed, and night stand. Well it is a maids bedroom.
"Yeh, I guess you can get on Valentino's good side and he might even put a tv or switch to the second floor. Where the bedrooms are amazing."
"So first floor is kitchen, living room 1 and 2, dining room, 7 maids bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, gym, and huge meeting room. What's second floor?" I asked.
"Second floor is Kaleb's room, I think there's 5 maids bedrooms, 3 bathrooms not including Kaleb's, 3 offices which are Valentino's dad office, Leo's bedroom when he's even home, and I think 3 guest bedrooms."
"Wow! Where does Valentino stay?"
"Third floor. I've only been up there one. There's his office and his huge bedroom which I've never entered but if there's just two rooms up there and it's the size of the mansion. It must be wow."
Note to self - Get enough trust to be allowed to enter the third floor.
"So that's it?"
"Pretty much. There's a guest house in the right of this mansion which usually his mom and dad stay. There's a private club about 3 blocks from here which is Valentino's. There's a garage to the left of the mansion which is the size of a house."
"Wow, how can a man who's just a businessman own this?" I laughed knowing exactly why.
She laughed and didn't answer. "So um how do I get a phone call around here?" I asked.
"You can use the call phone which is being heard by a guard to make sure well your not a spy or anything."
"Oh... Where is it?" I asked
"Follow me." She took me to a hall way.
"Thank you." I smiled waiting for her to walk away.
"Sorry but if boss knew I left you alone even if someone is hearing I would be in a bit of trouble "
"It's okay you can stay." I smiled knowing I wasn't going to be speaking English
"Ok." She dialed in a code and handed me the phone to put his number.
I quickly dialed Carter. "Hi dad." I said.
"Wh- Hi Amelia! Where are you? You didn't come home?"
"You're home!? They let you out the hospital?"
"Yeh..." His dumb ass doesn't understand.
"Je suis entré dans la cage du lion ( I entered the lions cage)"
"You can't speak other languages we don't know." Ericka said
"Es-tu en sécurité? (Are you safe?)" I looked back at Ericka.
"Sorry its because my parents don't know English well." I lied.
"Talk quickly than I don't want trouble." She answered.
"Le lion n'est pas vraiment le lion que nous pensons. Ce n'est pas qu'un lion. Il a une autre identité. (The lion isn't really the lion we think. He's not just a lion. He has a different identity."
"Alors qui est-il? (So who is he?)"
"Je ne peux pas encore parler. ( I can't talk yet)"
"Changement de planning. Ne tuez pas le lion. Apportez le Lion. (Change of plans. Don't kill the lion. Bring the Lion.)"
"ÊTES-VOUS FOU! Êtes-vous fou! Nous ne pouvons pas emmener un lion quelque part où le lion n'entrerait jamais! (ARE YOU CRAZY! Are you crazy? We can't take a lion somewhere the lion would never enter)"
"Écoutez ce que je dis. À bientôt. (Listen to what I say. See you soon." He hung up the phone.
Leaving my job ten times harder. Great.
"Your parents aren't happy?" Ericka asked probably because I screamed at my so called parents.
"Yeh. My dads worried about the job I got here. I didn't tell him who I was working for. I just told him I found a position as a maid but I have to stay here since it's far. He didn't like the idea at all."
"Oh..." She frowned. "Well on the bright side with this job you can make them feel better."
"Maybe... Can you tell me how things work around here so I don't get in trouble later. Anyways I can't sleep yet."
"Sure come." We walked over the kitchen and sat on the bar stools.
"So always wake up early, put an alarm for 6 the most late 6:30, Valentino always wakes up early. If you wake at 7 you will most likely be fired."
In my case killed.
"Got it. So what do I have to do with so much maids running around?"
"Well he asked you to be his maid. Take his food up to the third floor but don't enter the floor stay at the elevator and wait for him. Than you wait for orders for the rest of the day."
"Oh it's easy than."
"Basically all I do is sit around and wait for people to get hungry." She laughed.
"Yay!" I said sarcastically. "Well I'm going to bed. Can I get come clothes?" I said still wearing the robe with well...basically just fancy underwear underneath.
"There should be a set on your bed for today's night and tomorrow's work day. Than we will send men for your clothes just write your address." She stood up and grabbed a pen and pencil.
I wrote my address and stood up. "Well thank you Ericka. See you tommorow early in the morning." I smiled.
"Of course see you new girl." She smiled. Wonder what such a decent woman is doing being friends with a criminal.
I walked through the halls and reached the maids bedrooms where I laughed watching Ace walk out of a maids bedroom buttoning up his shirt. "Oh shit! I thought you were sleeping." He looked up at me. "Want to be next?" He smirked.
"Funny...boss. Why did you make me 'your' maid?"
"Because your a stripper." He walked closer looking at me up and down.
"Hahaha funny. I've met your chef."
"Ericka? She's nice. Not as nice as you." He walked closer standing 3 centimetres away from me.
"No thanks. See you next morning." I opened my bedroom door and was about to walk in but he grabbed my arm and pulled me right to his chest this will be easier than I thought.
Number one fact about any criminal man. They are vulnerable with woman. Honestly! It's funny! Unlike us woman we fall in love. But we don't sleep with every male who walks towards us.
"I have to go to sleep boss." I acted inoccent looking at his brown eyes.
He lowered his hand next to my ear. "See you tommorow." Kissing my neck.
"In your dreams." I pushed him lightly and walked away.
