Mingyu isn't sure why he is there in the first place instead of going to Reign Village directly. May be because this place is more familiar to him. Basta ang alam niya ito 'yung lugar kung saan...siya dinala ni Wonwoo noon. He could vividly remember which room unit Wonwoo lives.
He dragged his feet inside the condominium building and immediately went towards the reception area.
"Good afternoon Sir! How may I help you?" the receptionist greeted politely.
Mingyu didn't know what to say. Should he tell her that he's Wonwoo's friend even if he isn't? Tangina ang hirap.
He cleared his throat before speaking, "Hello miss. I'm actually looking for Jeon Wonwoo ng room 417."
"Kaano-ano po kayo ni Mr. Jeon?" the receptionist asked.
"Bawal ka mahalata Gyu! Umayos ka!" he thought. Mingyu smiled, "I'm his...friend..." he said in hesistation but soon repeated his words for him not to sound suspicious, "Kaibigan ako ni Wonwoo."
"Okay, sir. Let me check kung andiyan siya. Saglit lang po." the receptionist said before she clicked something on her computer.
After a awhile, the receptionist speaks up, "Sir, nung isang week pa po wala si Sir Wonwoo sa unit niya. Mas maganda po kung tawagan niyo na lang po siya at iinform niyong andito kayo."
Mingyu's fell in disappointment. Wala pa nga pero parang patalo na siya. "Ah ganun ba. Sige tatawagan ko na lang siya. Thank you miss."
"You're welcome po." the receptionist replied.
Mingyu walked back as he took a deep breath. While making his way towards the exit, his phone suddenly rang. It was a message from Seokmin.
He felt his chest constrict while his hands trembled as he unlocked his phone. He said he would accept whatever fate he'll have, but he still can't help but feel intensely nervous.
He almost dropped his phone when he read the message.
