It was Saturday. Tommy's favorite day. That was a sure sign of things to come.
"Phil! Can I go on the spinning teacups?" Tommy was practically vibrating with excitement, so how could Phil say no?
"You can, just don't take me with you." Tommy's eyes scanned the three next to Phil. Kristen shifted and took a step back, and Techno nudged Wilbur  closer to Tommy. When Tommy grabbed Wilbur, Techno and Kristen let out a sigh of relief.
"I feel bad for Will," Techno remarked solemnly. Kristen and Phil gave him a collective nod, watching as Tommy and Wilbur spun the teacup faster and faster.
"I think Will's the only one here that can match Tommy's energy," Kristen chuckled. She took a photo of Wilbur and Tommy both, their smiles encapsulated in her phone for forever.

"I want to go on that roller coaster over there. But I'm completely terrified." Tommy grimaced as he pointed towards the highest coaster. The many high, steep vertical plunges sent shivers down Tommy's spine, but he held firm and started to walk into the line.
"And may I ask, why do you want to go on this soul-sucking, demonic, metal monster of a ride?" Tommy paused, blushed, and averted his gaze from Techno's.
"There's this girl..." At this, Wilbur's bored expression morphed into a wide grin.

"I'll take you on the smaller rides first, and then we'll work our way up." Wilbur waved to Phil, and the crowd swallowed Tommy and Wilbur up.
"There they go, I guess," Phil said with furrowed brow. "I hope they'll be okay."
"Will is practically an adult now," Kristen reasoned. "They'll be fine. Now, do you two want to play some carnival games?"

Wilbur took Tommy to wait in line for a large pirate ship ride. As they stepped in, Wilbur turned to Tommy.
"Are you sure this is the kind of thing girls like?"
"Absolutely," Tommy replied, gripping a pole so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"You could just lie about going on the ride, y'know? It would be easy," Wilbur mused. Tommy set his gaze straight ahead, not wanting to look at Wilbur.
"I don't want to be like that. Like you." Wilbur shrugged playfully, letting go of the support pole in front of them and allowing his arms to fly through the air as the ride tilted higher and higher up.
"Suit yourself." The ship started to hurtle downwards, and Tommy tried not to scream.

As Wilbur pulled Tommy on dizzying ride after ride, Kirsten, Techno, and Phil were having a great time at the many booths in the amusement park. Of course, Kristen had already won armfuls of plushies. Sometimes she'd stop and take pictures when they glimpsed Tommy and Wilbur on rides. Tommy always loomed petrified, while Wilbur wore a satisfied smirk.
"Do you want to go to that place over there?" Phil pointed in the direction of a neon stand, with alien-themed prizes.
"Alien Blasters, right? Sounds good." Techno eyed the stand as Phil paid, already analyzing the game setup.

"Hi! My name is Niki, welcome to the game! You just have to shoot all the little aliens on the screen with the blasters right next to you," the lady running the booth was explaining. "The aliens will be shooting back, so you need to 'dodge' their blasts as well. If your health runs out or the timer runs out, then your your is over." Techno hoisted the plastic blaster up into his arms, the weapon fitting perfectly in his hands. Kristen happily took a picture of Phil, holding his blaster rather awkwardly, and Techno, a calm, cool expression on his face. Sometimes those two seemed opposites, and yet...

The game started up, and Techno wasted no time in absolutely anilihating the aliens. Phil and Niki, the lady running the booth watch Techno in awe, completely shell-shocked. The game's timer ticked steadily, and Techno's health bar dropped lower and lower. Just before the clock stopped, Techno took a hit from a stray alien shot. With just barely a sliver of red on his health bar, Techno placed his blaster down, and the round was over.
"I-I've never seen a score that high,' Niki said, walking into the back to grab prizes.

"My god, how did you live through that last shot?" Phil was peering over Techno's shoulder at his stats, marveling at his score and HP. Techno had half a heart left.
"Not even close," Techno said, a wide grin stretching across his face. "Technoblade never dies."
