The Red Suit Vol.5 : Showdown

Tsubaki's Resolve

Rain and Dynox stared at each other. The overall atmosphere around them was beginning to fell very intense.

" I don't know what kind of power this is.... " Dynox then spoke. " .....but I'm sure it won't make much of a difference in this fight ".

Rain held his hand out, and made a hand sign for him to approach. " Then let's test theory of yours.......come at me ".

Dynox's entire body glowed green. " Very well ".

He then immediately made a dash toward Rain with his left fist pulled back.

He got closer to Rain.

And closer.

And closer.

Rain didn't falter or even more a single inch.

Dynox swung his fist towards Rain's face.

" I will make sure you die this-!!! ".

" SLAP!!! ".

" !!! " Dynox was shocked as he punch was just deflected by a simple slap from Rain. " W-what is-?!! ".

Eventually before he knew it, he felt like Rain's left fist was approaching his face in slow motion.

" BAM!!! " the punch lands and breaks a bit of Dynox's helmet.

" G-gah.....!!! " this time, one of Rain's attacks actually made him feel pain.

Before he could even comprehend to what was going on a large barrage of punches was unleashed at him at speeds that he could not calculate how fast they were going.

" BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! ".

" G-gah....!!! " Dynox was trying to think even though he was feeling immense pain. ( This power.....what is this?! These punches are going so fast....that it almost like he surpassed the speed of light itself! ).

Rain pulled back his right fist, and eventually it approaching Dynox's face once again.

" BOOM!!! " the punch was so strong that even though Dynox was only knocked back a few meters away, he felt like he was just punched through the atmosphere.

Dynox scraped across the dirt and eventually he crashed into the ground, creating another in the process.

Rain sighed in relief and began walking toward the crater Dynox landed in. " Maybe now it's over.... ".

" Boss! You okay! Um......how're you feeling? " he then heard the voice of Gabby.

" Pretty good, actually. My body feels like it was just supercharged " Rain answered as he looked at his palm. " Do you might know why exactly? ".

" Well, something called the G.A.N.S user nanobot synchronize protocol activated " she began explaining. " It's kinda like some sort of failsafe that happens if the user is one the verge of death. When that happens, the device will inject nanobots into your body in order to quickly repair all internal damage you currently had and let's you start having better control over the suit. And as a plus, you're body is now able to regenerate faster now that those nanobots are in you ".

" Okay......that's kinda strange but also cool at the same time... " Rain then looked at his suit. " But what's with this sudden power boost in the suit? ".

" That......honestly, I don't know. All I know about this is that his made is called BEYOND mode but that's all the info I could get 'bout this, sorry ".

Rain arrived at Dynox's crater and stood above it. " It's fine. It was thanks to this new mode that I was able to finally beat the shit outta Dynox. So, not knowing 'bout it is fine for now ".
