Ch.22

Tw: panic attack

SapNap pov

I woke up during the night after I heard rustling from nearby but I couldn't quite see what it was in the dark room.

I sit up and get my phone.

I turn on the flash light and shine it around.

"SapNap?" I hear someone whisper.

"Karl?" I question.

I get a text from Karl

K💜:
yeah it's me why are you awake?

Me:
I could ask the same about you

K💜:
Something happened that I needed to deal with.

Me:
What happened?

K💜:
I don't really want to talk about it.

Me:
Ok let me know if anything changes or if you need help.

K💜:
I will. Now why are you awake you never answered my question.

Me:
I heard some noises and it woke me up I think it was just someone moving around in their sleeping bag.

K💜:
Sorry that might've been me. Go back to sleep it's only 2am

Me:
If I'm going back to sleep so are you. Want to come lay down with me?

K💜:
Uhh sure I just need to do something quickly so you start trying to sleep and I'll be right back.

Me:
👍

I lay back down and hear Karl get up and start walking out of the room.

Not long after I hear a door shut.

I get up and see the light on in the bathroom with the door shut.

I sit outside the door listening I start hearing sniffling as if someone's crying.

I knock on the door and the person stops crying.

"Karl is that you are you ok?"

I'm so stupid he can't answer you idiot. I think to myself.

Karl knock once if you're ok and twice if you're not.

Karl pov

I wake up in the middle of the night breathing quickly and shaking a lot I had a nightmare.

After a while I hear someone rustling in their sleeping bag I don't think much of it but then a light turns on from SapNaps direction.

"SapNap?"I whisper.

"Karl?" He responds.

——————— time skip to just after the messages because I don't want to rewrite that all.

I get up and go to the bathroom

SapNap said he'd wait for me to go back and he wants me to lay down with him.

Once I get to the bathroom all my anxiety from the nightmare comes back.

It's a nightmare of my dad.

My breathing quickens my vision gets blurry everything goes dark.

No matter how hard I try to stay quiet and stop the tears it doesn't work.

Suddenly there's a knock at the door and a voice that follows that breaks me out of my thoughts.

"Karl is that you? Are you ok?"

It's SapNap

I can't answer the question.

He rephrases the question after waiting for a response.

"Karl knock once if you're ok and twice if you're not."

I debate on weather or not I should tell him the truth ultimately I decide to be truthful.

I knock on the door twice.

"Ok Karl I want to help you is the door unlocked one knock for yes two for no."

I knock one time.

"Ok do I have your permission to open the door and come help you? Again one for yes two for no."

Again I knock one time.

After a few seconds of waiting the door opens and SapNap walks in.

That's the end of this chapter I know I left on a cliffhanger but next chapter will finish what happens here with extra of what happens after I hope you enjoyed this chapter and are enjoying the book too.

Sorry it's short but I have writers block and there's a lot happening in my life at the moment and things haven't been going great and I have a huge lack of motivation so sorry again.
