Ch.2

TW: Bullying

Karl POV

I didn't even realize that I held his hand the entire time I feel so bad I let go of his hand as we step out of the office we head our separate ways after getting late slips from the office saying where we were and why we were late.

It made me really happy to hold his hand even if he's my worst bully who doesn't seem so bad anymore.

SapNap POV

I didn't realize how many butterflies holding his hand would give me I rush to class while still walking since running in the halls isn't allowed.

I turn to look behind me and see Karl walking so slowly as he looks at and admires all the things on the nicely decorated bulletin boards.

I get to class and give the yellow slip of paper to the teacher. He looks at it and nods telling me to go sit down without using words. I go and sit in my typical spot in the very back of the class.

I zone out not really listening to what the teacher is saying my mind focused on how Karl's hand felt in mine. The teacher notices that I zoned out he yells at me saying "Nick what's the answer?!" I look at the board and say "uhh 37?" The teacher says "yeah actually good job." I was just guessing but you know correct answers work too I stay half alert for the rest of the class and afterwards is lunch anyway.

At lunch I meet up with Bad Skeppy Dream and George we always sit together today I try to find Karl in the hall before lunch no luck I was going to invite him to sit with us maybe tomorrow.

I go find my friends and they all say "Nick you missed so much class today where were you?!"

I reply without looking any of them in the eyes playing with my fingers under the table "I was helping someone." I start to blush and hope that my friends don't notice sure enough they do. Dream points it out and asks "oh yeah? Who was this friend of yours?" I reply quickly saying "no one I'm going to the uh-uhh bathroom I'll be back." I say rushing off.

When I get to the bathroom I splash my face with cold water when one of my football teammates walks in he looks at me and starts saying "So Nick you got a new friend? I shoved him this morning and expected you to kick him afterwards to finish the job but instead you grabbed his hand and dragged him to the office. What happened to bullying the kid for not talking!"

I run out of the bathroom before answering and go sit back with my friends they question me about my new friend and why I rushed back to the table. I answer the last part but never who my friend is. I tell them that one of the football guys threatened to beat me up. They ask why he was going to beat me up but I just stay quiet and say I don't know.

Dream shoots me a look. He put the pieces together. I give him a look in return his look is saying "that guy really?" And my look is saying "don't say anything I beg of you." He stops staring at me and I stop staring at him then my phone buzzes.

Dream:
The nerd who doesn't talk is your new friend seriously?

Me:
No why would I want to be friends with him? It pains me to write this

Dream:
You do realize I'm sitting across from you and I'm not blind you are blushing just thinking about that kid. It's him stop lying."

Me:
Fine it is but you can't say A WORD I'll kill you if you say anything to anyone.

Dream:
Fine I won't say anything but that means you have to stop keeping secrets about him away from me and you have to tell me everything that happens between you two.

Me:
Fine you get every detail but you SERIOUSLY can't say anything to anyone especially George.

Dream:
Ok I get it your secrets safe with me.

I look up from my phone smile at dream and he smiles back.

Ok I know short chapter but the next one will be longer I just didn't want and didn't really know what to write for this one I wanted this chapter to be mostly SapNap POV instead of adding Karl's here his POV of what happened after the office trip will be the next chapter also I know it's barely any but thank you for 3 reads it's a lot for having only 2 chapters only one of which is an actual chapter tysm! Word count for this chapter is 831
