Ava sighed as she walked into the kitchen. She saw Autumn sitting there with Leigh. "Hey babe. You okay?" Leigh asked.

Ava nodded and sighed. "Tom. He keeps texting me. And I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel like everything is getting too much now," she said.

Leigh handed her some coffee and smiled. Ava pulled Autumn onto her lap. "Talk to him. It's all you can do.  Tell him how you feel. How you need him to leave you alone so you can think about what you want," she told her.

"I'm gonna have to. Because it's driving me insane now," Ava said as she took a bite of the sandwich Leigh had made her. She smiled. "Have you talked to Max?"

Leigh shook her head and sighed. "Not really. We've talked about Autumn. She's going to his mum's tomorrow for the weekend. So do you wanna go out?" She asked.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Good."

Ava went into work. She saw Tom as he walked over to her. She sighed. "You need to stop spamming me with texts and calls. I need some space Tom," she told him.

Tom smiled. "I told you I was going to get you back. And I'm not giving up."

"But you're putting too much pressure on me Tom. I can't cope with it. Please. Just give me some space," Ava said.

Tom looked to her. "I know you love me still. And I'm not giving up. I've said it before," he said.

"Leave me alone Tom. Please," Ava said as she walked off.

***
Ava sat in the staffroom. Max walked in and smiled. "Hey."

"Hey. I heard what happened with Leigh."

Max rolled his eyes. "You mean you know I cheated on her. It was my biggest mistake. I couldn't help it," he said.

Ava nodded and smiled. "Yeah. I know that you're having Autumn tonight. I hope you can fix this for her sake. You and Leigh are too good for each other to let some cheap bitch ruin you," she told him.

"If only she thought that way."

Ava grinned. "Trust me. You'll make it work. You always do," she said.

Tom walked in and frowned. He saw how close Max and Ava were. He glared. "I see how it is. You don't want me back because you're snacking up with him. That it?" He spat.

"What? No. He's my friend. And we're not together! You cheated on me remember," Ava said.

Tom scoffed. He glared. "You're a joke. No wonder I did cheat," he said as he turned and walked off.

Ava stood there and felt the tears slipping down her cheeks. She sighed. "I'm sorry about that," she said as she looked to Max.

Max shrugged and smiled. "Don't worry about it. I'll see you later."

Ava watched as Max walked out. She sighed and sat there. She hated how everything was such a huge mess.

***
Ava walked out to her car. She sighed as she saw Tom standing there. He sighed. "Look. I don't know whats going on with us. But I miss you. Give me another chance. Please," he told her.

Ava shook her head and sighed. "I can't do that. You've hurt me too much. And I'm not going to do it. I'm not putting myself through that again," she said.

Tom looked to her and watched as she got into her car and drove off. He knew he wanted to have her back. But could he prove he was a different man? That he had changed.
