X Twelve X

Ava knew how she was considering giving Tom another chance. She had seen how he had changed and she was happy.

She knew all they had been through together. And how he had been horrid to her in the past. But part of was worried that things would go back to how they used to be.

Ava knew she loved him. She was definitely sure about tan. But she had to tell him how she was worried.

She wanted nothing more than to make it work. Knowing how she loved him. And she wanted to be with him.

Ava had doubts. And she was scared that these doubts would change her relationship with Tom. She had to somehow talk to him.

She knew that things were going well at the moment. And she didn't want to rock the boat knowing that Tom could flip his moods just like that.

All she knew was that things were going to change. And she didn't know how to feel about it.

Morning came and she was lying in bed. She had been texting Tom most of the night. And she had hardly slept.

Her head was spinning and she had to go to work. She just didn't how to feel about it all. She wanted to be with Tom. But she was scared.

She climbed out of bed and got in the shower. She needed to get ready for work. And she wasn't in the mood.

Ava walked into the staffroom. She smiled as she saw Leigh. "Hey. Where's my best friend?" She asked.

Leigh turned to her. She smiled. "She's gone to daycare today. Figured I needed to have a day at work where I don't constantly want to go and check on her. I know that the crèche is here good. But... I don't know. I'm worried."

Ava nodded. She took a sip of coffee and looked around. "Do you know if Tom is here yet?"

"I haven't seen him. I haven't been here long. He's besties with Max. So I'd check the office," Leigh told her.

Ava sighed. She smiled. "Part of me is so tempted to give him another chance. But I'm just worried that it won't change. That things are going to be how it used to be," she said.

"I get you. I'm the same with Max. He wants another chance. But I can't put myself through that. I want to give Autumn the happy family. But I can't risk him hurting me again. Or cheating again," Leigh said.

Ava smiled as she took her hand. She sighed. "We've picked a right bunch haven't we?"

"We have. It's fine. Maybe we should marry each other and let those two get married," Leigh joked as she yawned.

Ava was sitting in her classroom. She looked up to see Tom as he walked in. She smiled. "Hey. I haven't seen you much today. Are you okay?" She asked.

Tom nodded. He walked over to her and kissed her lips. "I love you Ava. And I want to make us work. I can't handle not being with you. Will you give me another chance?" He asked.

Ava looked to him and smiled. But was she ready to give Tom another chance?
