I was standing on the ship, waving to my parents.
I will miss them.

Now, that I have to leave the island and go to an unknown place it makes me feel sad.
If I think about the fact, that I am not going to take a trip but I go to the Selling, it scares me.

I thougtht twelve was the age limit. But I am sixteen and this is my first time going there.

My mother told me that I didn't go there because we didn't have enough money, but if it is true, than why do I have to use the name Mudcoastal?

My father worries a lot because of me, I can see it on his face.

At the end they took me on this ship with my luggage. On a giantic ship as the only girl.
The sailors don't dare to talk to me because I am a noble, but I am only a daughter of a forgotten family.

I sat down on the floor.
I knew that it was unseemly but it didn't bother me. Nobody cares about the propriety here.
I looked up to the cloudless sky. Why do I have to sit on a dirty ship?

For that question I got the answer on the morning of the third day when we reached the port of the capital and I was told to leave the ship.

A group of maids were waiting for me on the pier.
They led me towards the dark and narrow streets, we took some turns for a few streets then they opened a beautifully carved, massive wooden door in front of me.

The inside was really lit.
I found myself on a corridor where were so many doors to the right and to the left.

The one in front of me opened and an aged lady came out. She could be young or old but the authority that she held was just as huge as the queen's.

The lady stopped in front of me.
"Aida Mudcoastal, right?" She asked gloomily.
"Yes" I replied.
"Yeah... Very unique physique. Hard to find a pair in the whole kingdom." she looked me up and down.
Then she just signaled me to follow her.

During our conversation the maids went to mind their own business.

While we were walking on the corridors and up on staircases I realised how fancy the whole building was.

"Is this the Dorm?" I asked looking up on the chandeliers.
" Yes. You will live here from now on." She opened a door.
"I hope you remember the way here from downstairs."
I stared at her with big eyes, but when I saw the huge room I blinked twice.

On the door's left was a gigantic bed, opposite the bed two doors opened on the wall.
In the middle of the room there was a sofa with two armchairs and a coffee table.

Opposite from the entrace floor-to-ceiling windows let the natural light in, through them I could go out to the balcony.

I stepped inside the room.
"You will learn the daily routine soon, for the time being, arrange your things then come to the Main Hall."

She started her way out of the room when I asked:
"Where can I find that?"
"You will figure it out, if you have a brain." She turned back.

"And do not be shameless with me."
Her emotionless face was scary.
"I am sorry, madam." I looked down.

The lady went out and slammed the door behind her. Finally, I could leave the big sigh I was holding.

It turned out that one of the two doors, opposite the bed, led to a bathroom with a tub and a washbowl.
I have never seen a bathroom separated from the bedroom.

The other door was maybe a wardrobe. There were some cabinets in there.

I packed out my things from my luggage and was about to look out of the window when I heard a bell ringing, it probably signaled for us to gather in the Main Hall.
