"What time is it? I left my book in my locker and it's shitty."

"I'll be back in a minute, Bunny. I have to get my stuff," Tumakbo na ako bago ko pa man marinig ang complain niya.

"Get it tomorrow! I'm hungry! Dang!" I heard him yell.  "Zaney!!!"

"Let's go?" I smiled widely as I opened the car door.

"You took decades to be back," He rolled his eyes and mocked me. "I'll be back in a minute nye nye"

"Grabe ka sa decades! Jane asked me about the group project," I pouted and came near him. "Sorry na?"  He gulped. Sobrang lapit ko na pala sa mukha niya.

"Tara na nga, Tagal mo eh no! You're taking advantage of my kindness!" He joked.

"Sorry na kasi, Bunny." Saad ko pa pero hindi niya talaga ako pinansin hanggang sa makarating kami.  He remained silent and poked my side.

"Ara-" I was about to shout at him when Tita Loui showed up in front of us. "Hija! How are you?" She gave me a warm hug and pulled me inside.

"I'm good po, it's a pleasure to see you, Tita! You always looked so stunning, I am not surprised" I complimented.

"Binobola mo lang ako, Hija. Anyway, I prepared food for you,"

I looked around, wala na si Vinny sa likod ko, as we got inside I saw him at the dining, kumakain na.

"Oh, Zane. Eat. Mom, gutom na daw si Zane!" He exclaimed. I glared at him and frowned.

Tita Loui has not let go of me since we arrived. Hindi naman ako nagrereklamo, na overwhelm lang.

"Mom, I think you should let her go first. Hindi ka naman tatakas Zane right?"

I raised and widened my eyes at Vinny, it's not a big deal.

"No, Vin. It's fine, Tita." I chuckled. Bwesit talagang tao to oh, pinapahamak ako. I saw Tita Loui wink.

"Thank you for inviting me over, Tita. I just really need to go." Naluluha na ako. "Emergency lang po, bawi po ako sa susuno ha?" I hugged her.

"Is it okay po ba if magpahatid ako kay Vinny sa Ospital? Wala na po kasi akong masasakyan ngayon." I smiled bitterly.

Anytime, lalabas na ang luha ko. Reading the message my Mom sent me broke me. Is it some kind of prank?

"Why? What happened, Hija?"

"I'll tell you some other time, Tita."

"Sure, no problem." She called Vinny. "Please drive Zane to the Hospital. Mag-iingat kayo ha?

Walang salita, agad akong sumakay sa sasakyan ni Vinny. Hindi gaanong malapit ang Ospital kung saan si Daddy naka confine. I was shaking, afraid of the truth.

Vinny reached for my hand and squeezed my hand which made me calm down a little.

We arrived at the hospital where my dad was. I ran to my mom, the things that happened still hadn't sunk into her mind yet.
