"Anyway, mauuna na ako sayo, hinahanap na ako ni Kate," We were invited to Kate's sister's 18th birthday, Nathalie.

"Wait, what? Hindi moko sasamahan papunta don?" He asked, and oa kala mo naman di alam ang daan.

"Pupunta nga ako diba? Magkikita tayo 'don,"

"Sige na, Babuuu. I'll see you there," I reached him for a kiss on the cheeks before leaving.

Nakarating din kaagad ako sa venue, Kate greeted me with a warm hug, "You came, si Vince?"

As I was looking around I saw John approaching.

"By the way," Kate pulled John closer and introduced him. "This is John, my cousin," She smiled.

Mag pinsan pala sila? Isip-isip ko.

"Kilala ko siya," I awkwardly smiled at what John said. Suddenly, Kate's eyes widened in her surprise.

"Magkakakilala kayo? I didn't know that. Hindi mo'na sinasabi saakin?." She turned her gaze at John raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, we met at a club, about a year ago," said Ko.

"Shall we? It's cold outside, and your back is open," John said, extending his right hand to help me. I smiled and declined his offer, walking beside Kate to our table as she was a few steps ahead of me. I greeted Vince when he arrived, admiring his formal and fine look.

"Who owns that coat? I don't like it," he asked me as soon as he saw me, having the disliked face of the coat I was wearing.

"Kay John," I replied with a subtle smile.

"Kaya pala," I heard him whisper before taking off his coat and removing John's that was hanging on my shoulder. He put his hand on my back and walked in.

"What took you so long? The program started minutes ago?" I asked while he was getting his food.

"Wala, I stopped by Doctor Santiago to ask about the chem—," he interrupted himself. "Kumain kana," he pointed to my food.

I was sandwiched between Vince and John, unable to move properly. There was a hot tension between the two.

"Zane, tissue." sabay nilang sabi. Tiningnan ko si Kate na natatawa sa kanilang dalawa.

"Thank you, pareho kung tinggap ang tissue nilang pareho at sabay na ipinahid din iyon. Napakabastos ko naman kung kay Vince lang yung kukunin ko.

Vince cleared his throat and whispered to my ear, "He's making me jealous," kinindatan ko siya at nagsmile.

"Okay lang yan, inuuwian naman kita." bulong ko rin sakanya. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko sa ilalim ng lamesa at bahagya itong pinipisil-pisil.

"1, 2,3 smile!" The photographer said, taking a picture of us.

"Wow, what a stunning couple," he praised, proudly displaying the photo. Gorgeous.

"Thank you!"

"Thank you for coming guys," Nathalie said, ang kapatid ni Kate who just turned 18.

"Si Kuya John, ate?" Tanong niya kay Kate.

"He left a while ago, hindi ba nagpaalam sayo?" Nathalie said no. Bigla nalang din kasing umalis si John kanina na walang pasabi.

I was stunned ng makita naming nasa harap ng Condo ko si John, kanina pa ba siya dito?

"What are you doing here? Akala ko unuwi kana." I asked. Kataka-taka kasing umalis siya doon tapos dito siya pupunta.

"Kanina ka pa ba dito?" I asked again.
