V I N C E N T

Ilang araw na ang nakaraan. As usual, I and Zane always hang out, summer naman. Ngayon lang napirme sa bahay dahil may kailangan akong i-submit na requirements.

I heard a knock in the middle of editing. "Son?"

"Come in," I said.

"We're leaving, aren't you really coming with us?" Tanong ni Daddy.

"Pwede ka namang sumunod saamin on Friday," Mom added.

"I don't think so, it's a business meeting. You know, you should enjoy your time together, parents." I let out a small grin.

"Sabihin mo, ayaw mo maiwan si Zane." they teased. I shook slightly shook my head and smiled.

"Kunti," I whispered, enough for them to hear.

"Alright, alright, we have to go, hmm? We have a plane to catch. Mag-iingat ka dito," My mom said.

"I love you, son," I both hugged them at inihatid sa labas. They'll be in New Jersey for a couple of weeks, for Business.

"Son, do your best!" Dad yelled. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Silly. I waved my hand at them hanggang makalabas sila ng gate before I went back to my room.

I haven't checked my socials today kaya pagkabukas na pagkabukas ko sa phone ko a lot of messages popped up.

You received a message on Instagram from Andrei: "Dude, Let's have a drink."

You received a message in messenger from Jude: "Hey, Bro, I heard you're courting someone"

You received a message in messenger from Kyle: "Dude, What's this? You're good at Math, right? Patulong naman jan haha"

You received a message in telegram from Penis: "Dude, let's meet after school on Monday, It's almost our grad, 1-month nalang, we're finally done with College. Shit!"

With all of these messages, one caught my attention.

You have received a message from Zyrielle ❤️: "Vince, can we meet? Same place."

"Please? I just need someone right now, I have to tell you something important too. Please, I'm begging you. I need you right now, Bae."

"Last nato, meet me there at 10 AM tomorrow." huling basa ko bag-o in-off ang cellphone ko.

Nagpasama ako kay Zane na puntahan si Zy
kinabukasan, but she doesn't know she was my ex. Hindi ko na binanggit, saglit lang naman to.

"Vince, you came!" She excitedly hugged me. Agad akong bumitaw sakanya.

"What do you need?" I firmly said.

"Vince naman. Didn't you miss me?" She pouted. "Cause, I missed you!"

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Eto na ba yung importanteng sasabihin mo?" I scoffed. "Ang kapal din ng mukha mo to show up, a-after what you've done?

She held my hand, which I immediately avoided

"I want you back... Mahal pa kita, Vince." She paused. "I came back for you..." She pulled me closer and kissed me.
