The next morning, Arabella woke up to a soft knock at the hotel door.

Arabella got out of the bed and opened the door, completely forgetting to check the peephole.

"Hi, I swear i'm not a stalker." Bonnie smiled from behind the door and Arabella was suddenly fully awake. "You left this at Stefan's, I kinda did a locator spell." Bonnie pulled out one of Arabella's shirts.

Arabella couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm here to say sorry, and to say that I never left town.. I lied, and I apologize, I was so caught up in confusion that I pretended to leave.." Bonnie handed Arabella the shirt.

"It's okay, Bonnie, you don't have to apologize." Arabella softly smiled and Bonnie did as well.

"But since I did come all this way.. Do you wanna go get coffee or something?" Bonnie walked in the hotel room and Arabella closed the door behind her.

"Of course, i'll get ready." Arabella went into the bathroom and quickly got ready.

She wore a black off shoulder top, grey-ish jeans, and a pair of high boots. She wore her hair down and straight and put on her necklace and some basic jewelry.

Arabella walked out of the bathroom and grabbed her purse.

"Let's go." Arabella and Bonnie walked out of the hotel and Bonnie drove them to a local coffee shop. They walked in, ordered what they wanted, then sat outside.

"Um, are you okay?" Bonnie took a sip of her coffee and looked up at Arabella.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Arabella laughed, a confused laugh.

"Well, I, uhm, saw Stefan and Elena and I thought that you two had something going on—." She said, "I'm sorry, horrible timing on my end."

"He loves her, Bonnie, as much as I hate to admit that, it's true. I can't be mad at something he can't control, so i'm okay." Arabella smiled and Bonnie nodded. "I know this is a shocking question coming from me, but do you know if Damon's okay? I know he has little.. outbursts."

"About that, he asked Elena if she felt for him, she said no and he snapped Jeremy's neck.." Bonnie looked down and placed her drink on the table.

"Oh—." Arabella was stunned by what Bonnie was told her, she quickly grabbed her coffee and drank it to avoid the awkwardness do not speaking, "Well, enough about that, how are you?"

"As good as I can be, just glad I came to see you, guilt was eating me alive." Bonnie laughed and they continued talking for another 30 or so minutes before getting ready to leave.

"Well, Caroline called me and i'm sure she's gonna go crazy if I don't go to the historical society volunteer picnic, so, do you wanna go with? If I have to deal with being late's backlash, I might need you." Arabella nodded her head at Bonnies invitation and they drove to meet Caroline.

They walked in the park just as Mayor Lockwood was ending her speech. They walked over to the picnic tables and saw Elena and Caroline painting, Bonnie walked over and Arabella hesitantly did shortly after.

"Finally, you came!" Caroline continued painting after acknowledging Bonnie and Arabella.

Elena looked up at Arabella and gave her an awkward wave.

"So, how are things with you and Stefan?" Caroline asked, specifically looking at Elena, but it still made Arabella tilt her head.

"No, not since the fight." Elena looked down.

Arabella and Bonnie stood there, confused. What fight?

"He's pushing me away because he thinks that Katherine might be jealous enough to try and hurt me." Elena sighed and continued staining the bench. "I just don't know how to change his mind." She shrugged.
