"It's a pleasure to see you're still alive, is Niklaus aware of your return?" Elijah asks, staying assertive as always.

"He is well aware of my return," Arabella subtly hinted, "Is he aware of yours?" She asked, knowing Elijah wouldn't have shown his face to Klaus just yet.

"Your attitude never changed, hm?" Elijah slowly said, examining Stefan and Arabella while speaking.

"Never."

"You two know each other?" Stefan asked, his voice sounding less shocked as he remembered Arabella and Klaus' 'relationship.'

Elijah and Arabella both looked at Stefan, giving him a rather unfortunate look of 'yes.'

"What has my brother been up to?" Elijah moved his attention from Stefan and went back to Arabella.

"I don't keep up with your brothers doings, he doesn't like being babysat, though i'm sure you're aware of that." Arabella was always oddly defensive and on-guard whenever she was around Elijah, maybe he intimidated her, or she just really didn't like him.

"Well, given his reputation, he needs a babysitter, but if you won't be informing me of his whereabouts, i'll
see you two later." Elijah disappeared in thin air, before Arabella could give him a bitchy-Arabella look.

"I uh, take it you don't like him?" Stefan asked, gesturing in the direction Elijah was, then back at her.

"No, i'm fine with him, he just isn't the worlds biggest fan of me," Arabella shrugged, "Then again, he's only ever seen me being the 'bad parts' of a vampire. I'm
sure you can tell he's all 'noble' and 'I give you my
word'-ish, so it fits him to be all petite and strict when it comes to.. death." Arabella mocked Elijah's deeper voice and accent, making Stefan laugh and smile for a moment as he nodded.

That smile, the one she hadn't seen in years, the one that made his eyes show the perfect glisten of green. The one that used to make her days even better.

What a shame she 'died.'

Klaus decided to make his official move as Klaus/Alaric at the decade dance Mystic Falls High was hosting.

It started with Klaus "asking" Elena to save him a dance at the dance by compelling a schoolgirl who had shared classes with Elena, then lead to Klaus compelling the same schoolgirl to announce it on the stage, the one area everyone would see and hear her and her words.

Luckily, Bonnie and Damon already had a plan thanks to Stefan telling them what Arabella had told them.. About Klaus in Alaric's body.

But Elena? She wasn't aware of the plan as Damon was afraid Elena would get in the way of it.

As for Arabella, she was the one person who was yet wasn't involved. She knew Bonnie's plan and all, but she had no part in it. She wanted to be, after all, she'd overstep any limits if it meant a safe Bonnie Bennett, but Bonnie and Damon refused Arabella's help. She was the one outside of the school, hoping the plan would be successful.

And it was.

It resulted in a heartbroken Elena with anger towards Damon, but it worked, and in the moment that was all that mattered.

As for the next morning, after Elena had found out Bonnie was alive and they all had a talk of Klaus' body jump. Arabella was invited, or forced, as she would say, to come over.

Arabella arrived at the house and saw nobody there except for Stefan who had opened the door for her.

"Thank you." Stefan silently thanked her for coming and for telling them about Klaus before he walked away from the front door.
