Working at Family Video store was not the best job anyone could have, it was boring and dusty, and so far this day has been the most dreadful yet. The air was filled with small dust particles, which were the only things occupying the store except for the two employees.
Robin was slumped over the counter, staring at the doors that were not to be opened anytime soon. She sighed and slowly pulled herself up, still leaning on the counter but looking at her coworker.
"What? Don't look at me, I'm as bored as you are." Steve opened his eyes, looking around.
Robin grunted, "You're suppose to be fun and think of cool things to do and, you know, actually talk to me," She raised her arms like she was shrugging.
"We can't do anything, we're on the clock Robin," Steve said, then realizing what Robin had told him. "And I am fun."
"And what do you do that is fun? Babysit," Robin snarked, "I mean I understand, you're only friends are highschoolers."
Steve's mouth opened, "You know at least I'm not a band nerd." His tone raised higher as he reached the end of his sentence."
Robin stood up, taking the movie rentals that have yet to be stocked on shelves from Steve. She strutted away to put the movies on their designated shelves.
Steve watched her, sighing a bit as Robin aggressively stocked the shelves.
"Thanks for doing your job," Steve smiled a bit, it growing wider as he saw the glare Robin shot at him. "Hey hey hey, it seems you aren't bored anymore."
Robin stomped her way over back to where the other stacks of rentals were, taking some to continue her aggressive restocking.
Steve lounged back against the counter, enjoying the loud sounds of rentals being slammed onto the shelves. Soon enough he felt some guilt and stood back up, grabbing some movies that were needed to be put back in their correct spots.
He slowly walked over to the correct section where he needed to put the movies away, looking at Robin who was in the same area. Steve grinned, putting the items back on the shelf.
"Look who decided to do their job," Robin announced, walking back to grab more rentals.
"Oh shut up, like you barely do anything except for groan about doing nothing," Steve said back, moving to the opposite side.
Robin rolled her eyes a bit, "Whatever Stevie."
Steve sighed, closing his eyes, "Robin I swear, if you keep calling me that damn name I'll tell your little girl crush something she probably wouldn't want to hear." He threatened, putting more movies on the shelf.
"Oh you wouldn't Harrington," Robin gritted through her teeth, laughing to keep somewhat cool.
Steve lifted his hands up, "What can I say, I think I know a lot about you," He strutted to the counter.
Robin opened her mouth to say something, her eyes averted behind Steve. She started to grin a bit, "Actually Steve, I think there's more I know about you." She closed her eyes slowly, leaning against the counter.
"Oh and what would that be?" Steve raised an eyebrow.
Robin looked behind Steve again, making him curious of what was so interesting. "Well maybe I know about your little so called secret, which is not so secret, friend." She rambled, "Who is actually standing outside the store staring in, which I'm guessing wants to see you right now at this moment." Robin smiled, Steve's faced tinted pink, his face dropped a bit. "I got ya on that one dingus, point for me. Now you should probably go make-out with your friend, not so friend? If you know what I mean." She laughed a bit, turning around to go put more items away.
