Azmina's POV:

I wasn't sure if I had scared Juno or she was just shocked to see me. I mean, I was in her house and I had been unconscious the last time she saw me so I understanded a little.

"Hello?" I say. "Earth to Juno."

She stares at me, her mouth slipping open and her eyes wide. I grab her shoulders and shake them. Juno shakes her head.

"I thought you were still in hospital," she blurts. "When did you get out?"

"Only a few hours ago," I say and pull my hands away. "I think you were at the police station when they discharged me right?"

Juno nods and I stand aside to let her in. I wince a little as my wound stings. It's still fresh and the doctors told me it would hurt for a while.

"Where's the gunshot?" Juno asks, turning around and closing the door.

"My shoulder, I was very lucky apparently." I look at her and smile. "But I'm okay. Just some rest and I'll live."

Juno grins. "That's great! What about your parents?"

"I said that I was coming over," I say. "And that I was going to stay for a while."

I kick my bag that's sitting on the floor, full of clothes, chargers and toiletries that I would need for my stay. Juno tears up a little and looks at the bag.

"How long are you staying for?"

"That depends, as long as you need to move out and come and live at my house," I reply with another smile. 

Juno throws herself at me, arms around my waist and her head over my uninjured shoulder. "Thank you," she whispers. "For doing this."

I don't reply. No words are needed as we hug for a minute, just appreciating each other's existence. As she pulls away, she wipes her eyes.

"I need a shower so bad," Juno says and laughs. I giggle and pick up my bag.

"I'll see myself to your room, I'll be unpacking my stuff if that's okay."

Juno nods and makes her way upstairs into the bathroom. She closes the door and I follow slowly after her. After I found her room, I zip open my bag and grab my charger and phone to plug it in. I hear the shower turn on, water making a soft swoosh as it runs. I find the port, plug my phone in and grab my toothbrush to put in the bathroom. I knock a few times before entering. Juno stands in the shower, steam covering her body. She wipes the glass on the shower door so I can see her face. Juno gives me an amused smile.

"Someone learnt how to knock," she says.

I laugh, understanding the reference. 

"Oh come on now," I say with fake authority. 

Juno snickers and throws her head back under the water, her hands running through it. I watch but I think I'm coming across as pervy so I pop my toothbrush into the hold and walk out, closing the door behind me. I sigh and lean against the door.

My new home.

Well second home I guess.

Anything is better than that volleyball stadium.
