I drove up to Ariana's house to see a white Escalade parked outside with Tyler and Ariana on the hood looking up at the sky. Bri and Scott were beside the van doing the whip when they saw me drive up. I laughed at the two twins as I got out of my car.

"Y'all are too hype." I told the twins.
Bri walked up to me to do a little handshake, "We gotta be hype. It gives us some good energy before we go into a house full of spooks."
"Whatever you say, Nicholson." I responded to the blonde twin.

Ariana's head turned, "Oh, moon. You're here. Good. Okay, let's get in and go. It'll be really dark by the time we get there."
"I call shotgun!" Scott yelled out.
"No, you got it last time." Tyler whined. "At least let Y/N get shotgun since this is her first time with the crew."
"Yas, get in the front!" Ariana ordered with a smile.
"You don't have to tell me twice." I joked running over to the passenger side of the car.

"This is the place." Bri said as the car was put into park.
"This isn't just a house, Brian. This is a fucking mansion." I said to the guy in the back.
He smiled, "Well, I knew you all wouldn't come if I told you there was a haunted 6,000 square foot home."
"You're about to have us spilt up like the damn Mystery Incorporated gang." Tyler groaned putting his phone in his pocket.
Ariana smiled, "I think it'll be fun. Let's go." She took her keys out and opened her door to hurry to the front of the house.

When we all walked up on the patio she looked back at Brian and frowned, "Bri, it's locked. How the hell are we gonna get in? Sneak through the drain pipe?"
Bri put a mischievous smile on as he pulled an object out of his pocket, "I got a lock pick, hunty. I'm prepared for everything." He stuck the object into the lock and wriggled it around until we heard a clicking sound. He turned the door knob and the door slowly creaked open. Scott's gaze met mine and he smiled, "After you, m'lady."
"Oh, what a gentlemen. You just want me to die first, huh?" I joked.
He laughed, "How did you figure out my plan?"
I shrugged, "'Cause if I would've thought of it first, I'd do the same thing."

We walked inside and our feet made the floor boards creak. It was an eerie feeling but not too bad. I just felt like I was in a old house.

"So, is there a story behind this house or is it just a place with ghosts?" I laughed looking back at Bri.
Bri's smile turned crooked. "The story is the whole reason why Nekai and I came here. Apparently there was a lovely family that lived here. The Dad was rich and the mom was a lovely housewife with two kids. Well, the Dad built this house for the wife because that's all she wanted. Fast forward about 5 years. The kids are teenagers, they have a family bulldog, and the Mom is still a housewife. Except the Dad has gone completely mental. He's lost all of his money and didn't tell the family. It was driving him crazy that he couldn't pay for his house and rich lifestyle. Not to mention the fact that his wife would nag him like crazy about work. Anyways, the Dad finally came clean to the wife about the money and she went ape shit saying she was leaving with the kids in the morning. He wasn't going to let her. In fact, he blames it on the voices in his head. That night he cut up his wife and hung her up in the kitchen. The oldest kid caught her father in the middle of the act and gutted her like a fish. The other kid heard his sister screaming and the Dad threw him off the balcony so he'd land two stories below onto the pavement. And lastly, he wrote a letter describing in detail the voices haunting him. He blamed the money loss on the voices. Before you know it, he took a razor blade and slit his throat. When the police came to the house after a missing persons was filed, they found the family's beloved bulldog feeding off the Dad's body."
"Well, at least the dog didn't die." Ariana said casually.
"That story is so fucked up and morbid. What the hell are we doing here?" I asked feeling my skin crawl.
"What? You aren't scared, are you?" Ariana mocked tapping her fingers on my shoulder.
"No, but if people really did die here, this is their place of rest. That's scary to think of." I replied honestly.
"I wonder if there's still blood on the walls." Bri excitingly said running up the stairs of the mansion being followed by Tyler and Scott.

Ariana started walking towards the staircase but stopped with her hand on the rail to whip her head back to look at me, "You coming?"
I shook my head, "Nah. I think I'm gonna check out this allusive kitchen. Maybe a Mom spirit will make me a sandwich or two." I mocked in a ghostly voice before walking off on my own adventure.

As I crept further into the house, I could feel the hair on the back of my neck start to stand up. It wasn't because of the story, well not completely. It was mostly because I had the eerie feeling that someone was watching me.

I walked in through a doorway to see a traditional kitchen. It hadn't been touched in years. It was probably dustier than Paula Deen's vagina. Aw jeez, that was in poor taste. Sorry not sorry. (A/N: I honestly had to do it.)

I walked around a cabinet to see if there was anything left. To my surprise, when I opened a drawer it still had silverware placed carefully inside. Except it wasn't dusty. They looked like they had been cleaned recently.

I closed the drawer and when I did, I felt someone's hands squeeze my shoulders. "Boo!" They said, causing me to have an anxiety attack and yell, but my voice rasped so it wasn't as loud as it could've been.
I turned around to see Ariana laughing so hard with her hand covering her mouth. She was the definition of 'weak'.
"Are you trying to fucking kill me?" I said angrily.
She smiled once she caught her breath, "You wouldn't have died unless you have a heart murmur."
"I do." I said with a serious face.
Her mouth formed an 'o', "Holy shit, y/n. I'm sorry, I didn't know. If it helps, I'm hypoglycemic and allergic to bananas."
I couldn't help but laugh, "I'm joking. I just wanted you to feel bad for scaring me. Thanks for telling me your medical history though."
She smacked my arm playfully, "Don't fucking do that. I thought I almost killed you."
I smirked, "Well, don't scare me anymore and I won't scare you. Deal?"
She happily nodded, "Deal."

"So, have you contacted the Mom spirit?" She joked.
I frowned, "Yeah, but she refused to make me my sandwich unless I like human flesh as my sandwich meat. She said her daughter is a little dry but not too bad."
Ariana playfully slapped me again, "You're so terrible."
I smirked, "Yeah, but you like me so its all good."
"I do." She admitted grabbing my hand to interlock her fingers with mine causing my attention to turn to her.

A smile was perched on her face and her eyes were now locked on mine. I couldn't look away. It was like I was in a trance. Feeling something I haven't felt in a while. Maybe not as strong as before but still very appealing.

I scooted closer to her and got face to face so that there was a tiny gap between us. I used my fingers to nudge the tiny Italian's chin up a little and pressed my lips to hers softly then pulled away to see her pleasant expression. She pulled her hand away and grabbed my arms to rest them on her hips while she wrapped her hands around the back of my neck. We were just looking at each other before she leaned in to start kissing me again. It didn't seem heated or rushed. It was innocent kissing. Her soft lips moved with mine in a beat, but it was no beat I was familiar with. It was unique and addicting. I parted her lips with my tongue and explored her mouth. I kind of lost myself feeling a strange comfort having her in my arms but there was still a feeling in my stomach that wasn't completely okay with this. Although, that could've just been because we're in a haunted mansion.

My phone started vibrating in my back pocket loudly. Ariana pulled away with a smirk, "You better answer that. It could be important."
I smiled back and nodded, "I doubt it, but okay."

She let go of me after I let go of her and she began walking off into the house.

I looked at the Contact ID and almost dropped my phone.
