FIRST HONEYMOON TOUR PERFORMANCE: SAN DIEGO, CA

I finally finished my scenes for the movie and now it's in the process of being edited. I have to say, it feels nice not having to work on two things at once. Maybe this can help keep my stress levels down while I focus on music for a little while.

Except stress and nerves are taking over me tonight. We sold out the stadium we were playing in so that means every seat will be filled and every eye is on me. At least I'm not the only one opening. Prince Royce has been really helpful during rehearsals so that's made me feel a little more comfortable about this whole ordeal.

I was tempted to take a couple of Percs to calm my nerves but I decided to not be fucked up during my first performance.

My fingers were swiping on my
phone as I looked through my dash on tumblr to try to get my mind off of everything.

My bus door opened and the girls piled in. When they saw me on my couch, they ran in screaming.
"Mija!" Lauren yelled as she stampeded to tackle me. Followed my Mani, Ally, Dinah, and finally Camila.
"Are yall trying to kill me?" I groaned trying to push the 5 girls' body weight off of me.
They all got off of me and sat down on the two couches of lounge area. I was stuck between two Cubans, Camila and Lauren.

Dinah smiled at me from across the way, "Are you pumped for your first live performance?"
I shook my head vigorously, "No. Not at all. I'm so nervous."
Lauren grabbed my hand and interlocked her fingers with mine, "Don't worry, mija. You'll be excellent."
Camila turned her gaze from me to glare at Lauren with the look of jealousy and anger in her eyes.

I was planning on stepping on as few eggshells as possible today because drama is the least of my worries.
Mostly because it's more likely to happen because three girls that I've been talking to recently will be in the same place at once.

I got up from my seated position to go to the back of the lounge and grab a water bottle to cool my nerves before returning back to the awkward area.

The bus door flung open again and Ariana ran up the stairs without acknowledging anyone, "Moon! Mom made some cookies for you." When she realized the five girls were in my bus she kinda got quiet, "Oh. I didn't mean to interrupt."
I shook my head and sent her a reassuring smile. "No, you aren't interrupting anything at all." I walked over closer to grab the Tupperware full of cookies and gave her a hug, wrapping my free arm around her waist, "Tell Mama Grande I said thank you."
She nodded with her dimple peeking out of her smile, "Will do." She looked around at the girls and spoke to them, "I'd love to stay and hang but I have rehearsals first then I have a interview." Everyone nodded in response understanding her problem. Ariana looked up and gave me a sweet smile, "But I'll see you on stage, moon. Have fun out there."
Ariana ran out of the bus and hurried to shut the door and leave the girls and I alone.

"Why does she call you moon?" Ally asked looking in my direction after I sat down once more.
I smirked, "Cause we both have moon tattoos so it's kind of a nickname she gave me."
"That's a stupid nickname." Camila mumbled to herself and I looked at her with a smirk then pretended like I couldn't hear her comment.

"I have a interview tomorrow." I blurted out to the girls. This would be one of my first interviews as a artist. Actually, as anything. This would be the first of many interviews that I will do throughout this tour. What a nerve racking moment. These interviews are like the ones the girls would do non stop. I saw how nervous it made them some times which worried me a lot.
"That's great, baby." Camila ecstatically spoke. "Have you had interview practice?"
I gave her a weird look, "You guys haven't even had interview practice since 2012 and it was basically just 'don't go against the contract and smile'. I think I'm gonna be good."
"God, I hope you don't get a shit interviewer for your first appearance. Some of them are either rude, boring, or just intrusive." Lauren warned.
"Wow, thanks Lo. I appreciate your support."
Lauren giggled lightly, "No problem, kid."
