"I wish that was me..."
Mirabel breath in and out,trying to calm down her feelings.She begin to groan that no one would hears it and sit down on the staircase.
"Why I'm the one who didn't get gift....I don't meant to get jealous...I really proud of Antonio...Really...But...If that's were me,I should be proud of the family...And Abuela would even like me more...But...."Mirabel keep talking herself with frustrating she was.She loudly groan of herself and look down on the floor.
"I don't get it...."Mirabel whisper herself.
Now that she really felt alone to be the giftless one in the family that she wasn't ready hoping that Antonio wouldn't get gift too but it seem rude for Mirabel.
Will she able to make her family proud without amazing gift just like them?
She wouldn't even think about it
"Mirabel?"Suddenly a voice interrupt Mirabel's mind and Mirabel looking the voice come from.
It was Alexa that came out from Antonio's room and close behind her,walking downstairs and sit beside Mirabel.
"Hey are you okay?"Alexa asked.
"Oh yeah!I'm totally fine!So how's the party?"Mirabel asked again to change subject to ask her feelings.
"Seem pretty fun but I feel uncomfortable when some of guys seeing me dancing with your cousin Antonio...So I decided to go out and looking for you"Alexa said.
"Oh I should be there with you...I'm sorry...."Mirabel regret that she go out first.
"Not really...You don't have to worry about it...I'm fine...If I had sword with me,I could just chop their head"Alexa joked and they both laugh.
"Ay you're evil huh?Chopping someone's head?"Mirabel asked and Alexa nodded.
'It's been so happy to see her smile...' Mirabel thought as she smile seeing Alexa smiling showing her teeth when laughing.
"But why aren't you going in there and have some fun? Especially your Abuela is really happy dancing with your mother..."Alexa said.
"Oh definitely she's happy cuz... someone's make her proud and had another Miracle..."Mirabel explain.
"Why would you think that Abuela only happy if someone's gets the power?"Alexa curiosity.Mirabel look down on her lap and sighed.
Mirabel just look down and didn't replied.Alexa slowly went grabbing her shoulder.
"Mira...If you had problem,Tell me..."Alexa whispering to her softly.
"I...."Mirabel was about to say words but she immediately wipe her tears.
"Oh you don't have to wipe those tears,It's normal-"
"No...I don't really want to cry...I do much cry but now I don't need to cry anymore...Or else...I just making it more worst...I'm so worst..."Mirabel groan and wiping more of her tears as she start to crying slowly.
"People are sometimes the worst but it's normal...It can fix it..."Alexa said.
Mirabel put her head on Alexa's should,burried her crying face in there and cry softly.Alexa pulled a hug and patting her hair.
"You are always been amazing just like them too...Gift or no gift..."Alexa comforting her.Mirabel lift her head up and smile,went pulled a hug.
"Thank you,Alexa...Your the best friend I ever had..."Mirabel thankful to have Alexa by her side.
