The universe is a concept that is hard to understand, just thinking about it can give people headaches. The only thing more puzzling is that there are some who don't even try. A curious and frustrating race that call themselves...HUMANS.

Such strange, yet fascinating, beings. They think they know so much and wonder about little - always turning on each other and their world, over petty things like land. I read about them constantly, about their customs and what they look like, the things they do. Everything is so different to my world. Who am I? My name is Historia.

If you hadn't guessed, I am not of Earth. My planet is called Otium. Our planet is about 5 times the size of earth and is always perfect. There are no disasters, or wars ... just peace. On Earth, they make up stories about people like me, beings not from earth. No, I am not green, nor do I have big eyes or fly around in a large metal disk. We are the Initium and we look very similar to humans.

There are some differences, of course. My eyes are blue and silver but, like all Initium, they change colour depending on my emotions. My hair is black like the night sky with bits of blue and silver that seem to mirror the stars. It cascades down my back in delicate curls. I often wondered what it would be like to live among the humans.

Their lives seem so simple, so easy, so different to mine. Their world seems so natural and so beautiful. Otium may be peaceful and have no disasters but that's only because everything has been manufactured by us - the ground, the buildings and even the peace. But, like just like all things are built, all things must break.
