{Historia}

This is it, today I'm going to school. YAY! I'm not sure whether or not I'm excited or scared. I wake up and look out the window and see the sun rising. It's beautiful, there is nothing like this on Otium. KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK. I guess that's James. I open the door and let him in.

"Ok, now we should figure out how that power thing of yours works." He said a little too excitedly. He sounded like a little boy in a lolly shop. He dragged me over towards the mirror and stared at me intensely. I took a deep breath and thought of what I wanted to wear. Almost instantly my jeans and shirt (that I was still wearing as I was too scared to try my new ability again) transformed in to a deep blue dress that was fitted around my chest but flowed loosely down to half way down my thighs. It looked a little boring so I added fish net stockings.

Once I was happy with my outfit, I moved on and focused on my face. I realised having blue and silver streaks in my hair wasn't exactly normal. I focused and saw my hair turn a shade of light brown with blonde highlights. I kept it the same length and left my curls untouched. I look over at James to see him staring at me with his mouth so far open, I swear you could shove a golf ball in there. I turn back to the mirror and started to change my face. "DON'T!" He yelled in a sudden outburst. "Don't change anything else." He said gently as he looked up at me. I felt my heart flutter and my cheeks turned bright pink.

{James}

I couldn't help myself. It annoyed me that she had to change anything at all. She was perfect and amazing. "How do I look?" She asked timidly. This was the first time she had seem generally worried since I met her. "You look amazing and perfectly human." I managed to say and winked at her. "Except for your hair..." I said as I examine her face again. "My hair, what's wrong with it?" She exclaimed and began to fiddle with her hair self-consciously.

"Nothing's wrong with it, it's just not you." I explained. She seemed too understand what I was talking about and back to the mirror. I saw her concentrate on the right side of her head. One streak of hair started to turn blue. Like a wave of colour washing over this one strip, from her roots to the tip of her hair. Now she looked more like the girl I had found in the field last night. Then it hit me. We only met last night, yet it felt like we had known each other since we were kids.
