"Where—, where are we?" the Russian spy asks.
"On a world that lost their Widow." The watcher replies.
"R-really?" Natasha chokes, desperately trying to hold back the tears of joy that was attempting to break free. "B-but, I don't see anyone here." she adds.
"Oh, there is someone and that someone needs your help..." he responds before looking at her in the eyes, "and your guidance. At this point, you're probably all she has left."
"Who?"
"That's for you to figure out." he smiles. "I can't fix your broken world but I can do this for you instead as my token of appreciation for the sacrifice you've done to save the multiverse."
"Well, this world seems like a mess." she smirks, "Thank you."
She turns her back from the watcher and scans the area to look for the person he was talking about and as soon as she leans back to ask him one more question, the watcher was nowhere to be found. Her head falls to look at the ground with a sigh then she looks up in the sky. Because now, she knows that he's out there watching.
"You're an ass but thank you anyway!" she hollers, chuckling as soon as she ends her phrase.
She takes a deep breath before walking down the mountain to where he has brought her. She continues to scan the area, whoever was he talking about is certainly difficult to find. She has been walking around in the snow for about 30 minutes but what felt like hours to her already due to the freezing cold temperature. She starts to wonder if he has brought her to this place to die in the cold instead.
"Motherfucker." she curses.
Just as soon as she was about to give up, she spots a glowing red light from afar. In the deepest part of the woods. She runs to it immediately and she notices the boulders, rocks and hills of soil mixed with snow that covered half of the forest. Judging on how the area looked, she assumes that it was a landslide.
When she got a closer look, she realizes that the glowing red light was very much familiar to her. The red wisps along with the pale hands of a girl she knew came to her mind immediately.
Wanda Maximoff.
She was very close with her. She wasn't at first because she didn't really like her after she unearthed her deepest darkest fears and vulnerability but with the help of her best friend, Clint, she grew fond of the once rebellious Sokovian. She remembers the moment when she lost her. Just when they got closer to each other, Ultron takes her away from her. The redhead never really grows attached to anyone in her life anymore because she knows what that would do to her and she has experienced enough pain in her life at that point. But she gave Clint Barton, Steve Rogers and Wanda Maximoff a chance. The only people in her life she truly cares, loves and trust. But she was then left broken when she lost all three of them because of Ultron.
