Once I apparate to Diagon Ally, I head to Flourish and Botts. As I enter the store I go over to the far left of the store as I know that is where the required books for Hogwarts reside. I get all the books I need and go over to pay when a certain book pushed to the very back of the shelf catches my attention.

The Secrets of the Ancient Runes and Wards

Huh. That could be useful.

I wandlessly float the book after me as both my hands are filled with books. I head over to pay only 80 galleons due to the wards in front of the salesman that recognizing me as owning 25% of the store.

As I leave I check the time and see it is 6pm. Perfect.

I am eager to head to get to Eeylops' Owl Emporium as I know a special someone is waiting for me there. I practically stumble over my feet when I arrive and open the door. I go to the right where the young owls are kept and immediately spot a beautiful young snowy owl.

Hedwig.

Every time I get placed here Hedwig always remains by my side. Turns out as Master of Death, she is my companion until forever. Seeing as she is my familiar and seeing as I am the Master of Death, she is stuck with me forever.

I head over to her and place the back of my hand against her cage. She sniffs me and starts banging against the cage to be let out. The commotion causes the guy running the store to rush over.

"Oh I apologize, young man. This one is always causing a ruckus when anybody gets near. Here I'll show you to the more desirable owls," a light brown haired, middle ahead man says.

"No, it's alright, I want her," I state as I smile at Hedwig.

The guy looks at Hedwig, then back to me unsurely, "Are you sure? She's impatient and not very well trained seeing as she constantly bangs around her cage,"

"I'm sure," I tell the man as I open the cage and Hedwig flies over to my left shoulder and stays there after giving my cheek a peck.

"See. She just needed to get out of there. Not all owls appreciate staying cooped up in there all day and night," The guy nods and goes back to his spot. I go over to the owl food and let Hedwig pick all she wants.

She picks some pebbles for her food, three different kind of treats and a stuffy toy, the shape of a mini baby owl. I smile at the sight of Hedwig tucking the stuffy under her wing. She has always been a very maternal owl. It's really just endearing when she comes to me nipping at me whenever I missed a meal or haven't slept enough. I don't think a better owl exists even though she can be a bit high maintenance.

I exit the store after paying for Hedwig and her necessities. I debate going to Madame Malkins for plain Hogwarts robes, but ultimately decide against it. I ration that going to a higher end store at Knokcturn alley is the way to go as I will be getting better quality robes which will be important for me seeing as I am meaning to get into Slytherin. And I know wealth matters in the monarchy house of Salazar.

Once I arrive at Knockturn alley I go to McHavelock's Wizarding Gear with myself on alert. Most wizards and witches avoid Knockturn alley due to the shady business and high crime that goes on. Knockturn alley has grown quite the reputation for a reason. One must always head here with an attentive mind.

"Greetings! How may I be of service Mr?"  Madame McHavelock questions with a smile.

"Just Hadrian is fine," I respond with a small smile of my own.

I don't want to announce my last name just yet. I want that to be announced at Hogwarts to really see all the reactions. I remember my own reaction was not even held back, so I am very much looking forward to soaking up everyone else's. The name Peverell holds a huge sway over the Wizarding World and not just Britain, although mainly in Britain. It was thought that the Peverell line had died out, so seeing someone with the powerful name will definitely turn eyes.
