"Master? Master Hadrian it's be time to wake up!" I heard a voice exclaim.
"Wha- oh" I groaned as I roll over the bed and cover myself head to toe.
"Master you's be late if you don't get up!" Dinky scolded while tugging at the covers.
"No," I simply state and then hear a pop. Phew he left me be. Just as I was about to doze back to sleep ice cold water was dumped all over the covers getting me wet.
"What the hell!" I yell. I look over and see Dinky with a sneaky smile on his face.
"I's told you," he said smugly, "Now Master, shower and then come down for breakfast," Dinky ordered and then popped away not awaiting a response.
Great. Who would have thought that a snarky house elf would be the end of me.
I get in the shower with steaming hot water. Instantly my body relaxes. Staying up 'till 3am while getting drunk with firewhiskey, knowing I wouldn't be sleeping in the next day was not my brightest moment.
I finish my shower in about about fifteen minutes and then start getting dressed. I debate whether wearing robes or not. If I wear robes I'll make a better impression to the Slytherins and pure bloods. If I wear normal clothing I'll make a good impression on literally every house expect Slytherin.
It's not that halfbloods or non-slytherin pure bloods don't wear robes to the Hogwarts express sure some do it's about 50-50 chance of seeing both kinds of wardrobe. The thing is that I want to show that I am approachable. I don't want to intimidate anyone by dressing so formally since it's sometimes subconsciously thought of as a stuck up pureblood. Obviously though, by now you have people that know you since you've been going to school with them for four years, but I'm new. So, no yet knows me to disregard my dressing.
It's hard.
I think I'm going to go with a mix of the two.
Let's looks at my options:
