gone.

we finally arrived. the new beginning. we arrived at the house. it was smaller than our home in New Jersey. it was a small brick house with only 3 bred rooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a dining room. we started taking the boxes from the van and putting them in the trim they go to. we tried to unpack before my mom got home that night. we got everything unpacked except for the living room so we all decided we are gonna unpack it tomorrow because the sun already went down.

i was finishing up my room when i heard a knock on my door. it was dustin. "hey, y/n.." dustin said with a shaky voice. "hey dustin, what's wrong? are you okay?" i asked with a nervous voice. dustin never sounds like this, never. he looked up at me with glossy eyes. a tear rolled down his face "mom..mom is dead.." suddenly everything went black. my mind, completely blank. everything was blurry, like it had no meaning. "no, no that's not true your pranking me, Dustin please say this is one of your pranks." i say with a slight chuckle and shaky voice. dustin shook his head. "I'm sorry y/n.." dustin said with a breaking voice. i broke down. i started sobbing. struggling to breath. dustin ran to hug me and I cried in his shoulder. i pulled him away and asked him how it happened. he said that when she was on her way to airport she got in a car crash and lost to much blood and died. that made me feel guilty, i should have just gone with her. She's really gone, isn't she?
