-Y/N POV-

For some time, I had a crush on Kenma. I knew him through Kuroo, and I tried my best to befriend, but my efforts were foiled by Kenma's lack of attention span was small and his direction was absorbed by his Nintendo switch whenever he wasn't playing volleyball. As I tried many times to make communication with the boy, he blanked me, and his listening skills only focused on half my conversation. Judging from Kuroo's expression, who was always with us when I tried to make some communication with the gamer, from when Kenma wouldn't listen, he looked as if he wanted to grab his Nintendo and throw it in the nearest river.

"Maybe just accept Kenma isn't interested in you Y/N, no offense or anything-" I cut him off.

"Or maybe Kuroo someone should confiscate his electronics? Surely his antisocial attitude bothers you as well, and don't deny it I can tell by your face every time we all walk home together. You seem agitated by it."

"Hm." He started. "Well, I guess your right it can be an issue sometimes."

"Exactly." I replied. "Perhaps I should infiltrate his little gamer world? Does that seem a good idea Kuroo?" I asked as I lifted myself onto the counter of my Kitchen.

"You mean play with him? Do you even know what kind of games he plays Y/N?"

"Nope, but do you?" The rooster head chose not to respond.

"Well then." I added. Kuroo remained quiet.

"Well, what are you waiting for ask him." Kuroo pulled out his phone and opened his messaging app and went to contacts to find Kenma.

-Kuroos Phone-

You: Hey Kenma, so random question, what games do u play? 🐱

Kenma: Why r u asking now

You: Random yk. Also is it ok if Y/N comes around yours this weekend?

Kemma: yh sure. idk why he wouldn't ask me in person himself but ok. Also, here's a list of games ig

Kuroo showed me his phone with a list of all the games and I ended up googling them all for gaming tutorials.

-6PM-

"Thank you Kuroo!" I thanked him before he left my house.

-Time Skip, Saturday, 9PM-

I knocked on Kenma's door. before I could thank Kuroo for walking me here since I lacked courage he disappeared out of thin air. I turned around as soon as the door opened and was greeted by Kenma's mother.

"Why hello! Are you Y/N L/N? I heard Kenma is expecting you!" She chirped. She seemed very enthusiastic, and her attitude and optimism deemed the opposite to her son and how he acted, always drawn to the screen.

"Yes, that's me." I replied.

"Oh good! No one visits Kenma really." she began as she escorted me into the house. "He prefers to be alone, left unbothered, sometimes he doesn't come downstairs for food, and I do worry but I'm happy he does volleyball club, so he does exercise on an expected weekly basis. I hate the fact he's always on some electronic device. I never had those growing up you know. Anyways I've kept you down here long enough he's just up in his room, something I wish he would clean." She muttered.
