Author's Note: Hello to everyone and thank you for choosing to read this story! I'm sorry it's been so long since the first one, but finally the sequel is here.
This story takes place 6 years after the gang left Hollywood Arts at the end of the first book. At 24 years old, everyone in the gang are finally settling in to their careers as young actors or singers. Again, like in the first story, for the purpose of this one, any real life songs, TV shows or movies which are written and performed by, or feature any of the characters, I am acting as if they have been released recently, rather than however many years ago they were released in real life.
Hope everyone enjoys the sequel!(Tori's POV)
My eyes flicker rapidly as I adjust to the bright sunlight on this Friday morning, which bleeds through the crack between the curtains from beyond the surrounding Hollywood Hills, and on to the bed.
I sigh contentedly, before rolling over to face my boyfriend, who I expect to still be fast asleep next to me, only to find the other space in the large bed empty. I check the time, and see that it is 7:45 am. I slowly sit up, and once the sun is out of my face, my vision becomes a lot more focused on my surroundings. I look around our large bedroom and see that he is in fact, not here.
I climb out of the king sized bed and make my way out of the room, across the landing, and into the bathroom, where I step into the shower and freshen up, before heading downstairs.
As I walk down the 'grand' staircase, I hear God's Plan, by Drake, blaring from the speakers in the kitchen. I shuffle into the room, where I'm met by the pleasant sight of a topless Eddie, stood at the cooker, towel draped around the back of his neck, cooking what I assume is bacon and waffles, judging by the sweet smell. He quietly sings along to the song, with his full attention on the cooking, completely oblivious to the fact that I'm stood just a few feet in front of him, on the other side of the white quartz kitchen island. If I'm honest, Eddie hasn't changed too much since we left school. Sure he's grown quite a bit since then, and I'm not just talking about height either, but the muscles on this guy...
He still has a similar hair style to back in school - very short, skin faded on the sides and back, and short and neatly brushed upwards and to the side.
The main difference in his appearance is obviously his sleeve tattoo on his left arm. Included on his sleeve are a lily flower and a rose, in remembrance of his mom, who was called Lily and who's favourite flowers were roses, a baseball and bat, and basketball, with the names Dodgers and Lakers, which are in remembrance of his dad, who's favourite sports teams were the LA Dodgers and LA Lakers. He also has two crowns, one a king's crown and the the other for a queen, in remembrance of his grandparents, a roaring lion, which symbolizes his courage and bravery and a howling wolf, which symbolizes his loyalty.
One of the other tattoos he has on his sleeve is a black fedora hat, with a microphone and sparkling glove, representing one of his greatest music and dance icons, Michael Jackson.
I think the whole sleeve is a beautiful piece of work, and of course, we can't forget about the tattoo that he has on his ribs on his left side. This tattoo has the words 'Tori's King' with a crown placed above the 'K'. This tattoo matches with the one which I now have on the left side of my lower torso, which says 'Eddie's Queen' with another crown above the 'Q'.
Admittedly, we did get these tattoos while we were on holiday in Paris, after drinking a few glasses of wine each, but the whole holiday was so romantic that I just couldn't resist getting these tattoos done.
I love them."God's plan, I hold back, sometimes I won't!" I shout out suddenly as I join in with the line from the chorus, making Eddie jump slightly as he shoots his head up to face me.
"Jesus christ Tori do you mind?" he chuckles as he pretends to wipe sweat from his forehead from being scared.
"It's nice to see that you're more focused on trying not to burn our food, rather than notice when I enter the room" I joke with him as I take a seat opposite him.
"Hey, I don't burn food. You do realise I'm probably a better cook than you right?" he jokes back, which results in me sticking my tongue out at him.
