Chapter 21

2 days later

(Tori's POV)

"Is this the place?" I ask Eddie as we both climb out of the car that Shawn had arranged to drive us around in.

"I think so. Bushwell Plaza, that's what Carly said" Eddie replies as we make our way to the large building's entrance.

"Okay Sam said that we're meeting her and Carly in their apartment first, which is number 8-E, and then we'll be shooting their first return episode at Spencer's in the evening" Eddie then says.

"Awesome, let's go see 'em" I say as I drag him to the elevator.

We ride the elevator up to the eighth floor, where we wander down the corridor until we reach Carly and Sam's apartment.

With a merry knock, the door swings open all but immediately, and there's Carly on the other side, with a wide, stunning smile. Seriously, Carly is definitely up there with girls who give me the hots just from their beauty and smile. And yes, that also includes Jade and Cat, because they're just... wow.

"Hey Carls!" I greet as the two of us hug.

"Hey superstars, come in!" she says, ushering us inside hers and Sam's apartment.

Their apartment is a lovely living space, with red brick, as well as grey painted walls running in each room of the apartment. The living room and kitchen are nicely open planned, with a lovely mustard yellow couch and white marble kitchen counters, complete with gold plated seats under the counters. There is a wide variety of plants inside the living room.

"This is such a cute place you guys have here!" I say as I spin around, looking at every inch of the girls' home.
"Ugh, please don't call it cute. I tolerate the plants to stop Carly from moaning, but I don't need a couple of global music sensations calling my place of living cute" Sam groans, cringing at the 'C' word.

I can't help but giggle at Sam's discomfort with the word. I take a comfortable seat on the couch next to Carly while Eddie joins Sam at the kitchen counter, who offers him some pancakes. Eddie accepts, and when Sam offers me some, I decline politely, before turning my attention to Carly.

"So are you guys excited for your first episode of your iCarly comeback tonight?" I ask the brunette.

"Oh my god we are so ready for it. We're so excited to have you both on the show!" she gushes.

"We're excited to be on it, again" I say back.

"So when would we be coming on the show? Would you want us to make an entrance towards to end and do a song?" Eddie asks after gulping down a mouthful of pancake.

"No actually... well yes, we'd love for you guys to do one or two songs if that's okay? The songs can be your choice since we love all of them, but we actually wanted you guys to be featured on pretty much the whole episode" Carly explains.

"Yeah when we had The Plain White T's and One Direction on, they only did one song each at the end of the show, but you guys are our friends, so we want you on it for longer" Sam adds.

I tell them that Eddie and I would love that, so Carly and Sam begin to explain what sketches they're planning to include in the episode.

Just under half an hour later of running through the plans for the episode with us, the topic of conversation changes to plans of things to do today.

"So we know how much you guys like art. We saw your house tour video by Architectural Digest and saw some of the awesome pieces of art you have around your house, so we thought it would be cool to take you guys to the glass art museum..." Carly begins.
Eddie and I look at each other and nod in approval.
