been playing Genshin so much I forgot about this book--

also I like the idea of Grian being one of the oldest hermits, so he's 22 (and Scar and Badtimes are 21)

[Xemon POV]

I woke up on my couch, with my entire television covered in sticky notes. Hels had written a note on only ONE of them, mentioning how I'd fallen asleep while we were sitting on the rooftop, and that he'd brought me down to my apartmen-

SHIT AM I LATE FOR WORK?

And it's only 5:30 in the morning. 

I only slept for like 2-3 hours.

I don't work until like 8, so I guess I'll get ready later.

Now that I think about it, I actually dreamt for once last night.

I barely remember some parts, bu-

Holy shit I dreamt about Hels.

I'm at work now, and Virgil's rushing around, and, for some reason, Xisuma's come in.

I'm not ready to talk with him alone again. The last time we did, we'd argued and it ended with me slapping him.

I'm on break now anyway, so I guess I have the time to speak to him.

"Look, Xem, I'm sorry."

"X, I honestly don't give a fuck for you- Wait what?"

"I'm sorry. I tried to convince you to not do something that you'd wanted to do, and I wanted to apologize. Dad told me you work here. I'm just lucky you're here today."

"I... I forgive you X. And, Y'know what? I'm sorry too. I'd slapped you and then stormed off."

Xisuma nodded and pulled me into a hug.

"Now, I've heard that you and Hels have reconciled."

"Yeah."

"Didn't you have a, y'know, crush on him?"

"Yea- Wait don't you fucking dare tease me about this, Mr Aro/Ace."

"Fine fine, but you're going to have to tell our Dads."

"Why?"

"Tell them you're gay, Xem."

"oH-"

"Now, I need to go. I've been working on starting a team."

"Bye, Dearest Bro."

"Oh my goodness, Bye."

Shortly before my shift ended, around 4:32, Grian kicked the front door open.

"EVERYONE, I HAVE NEWS"

He's rushed over to the counter. "You're invited by the way!"

"What?"

"I'm engaged! I proposed, and you're one of my favourite cowor-"

"You're WHAT?" Badtimes' popped his head out of the back, staring Grian down.

"I'm engag- Okay sorry I didn't get your blessing or whatever, but I did take him to that one theme park he'd wanted to go to."

"But you didn't tell me you planned on marrying my brother!?"

"Sorry sorry! But you're invited too."

"I better be best man."

"Tell Scar that."

Badtimes rolled his eyes and walked over.  "I'm off in an hour, I'll be over as soon as I am."

"Okay!"

And he's gone, just as quickly as he appeared.

What the fuck just went down.

From what I heard, Grian is dating this 'Scar' dude, I think he's a popular hero, and he's Badtimes' brother? And Grian proposed to him?

I think that's it?

Oh shit I was invited.

I don't have that many nicer clothes-
