Week Before Saber's summoning

Ayako Mitsuzuri, a small note mark within the total story that was playing out within Fuyuki, or at least she would be in a different time but not for this world.

Born into a small family that practiced the martial arts, Ayako was quite gifted and considered to be a stellar athlete when even when she was just little. Her parents taught her many martial arts available in Japan but the one she had the best gift in was archery.

Japanese Archery or known as Kyūdō, the way of the bow, was practiced to in the current times to enrich life but also act as a bridge of cultural history for the nation. Archery was a long practiced art form that had was about completely giving oneself spiritually to the shooting.

These ideas fascinated the young Ayako and so, Ayako practiced day and night to pursue a competitive life within the field later.

This ambition carried on all the way into high school. Ayako's talent made her Captain of the Archery Club.

But there was more to Ayako then just athletic achievements--her real wishes were childish at times. In recent memory, Rin and Ayako would compete over whom would snag a boyfriend first but both had difficulties. Ayako was just too energetic for anyone to wanna date as her personality was completely jarring, and Tohsaka on the other hand was Tohsaka.

Despite the personality of the Archery Captain, Ayako managed to be friends with both Rin and Emiya Shirou since they were kids.

Life was continuing to be a calm and quiet breeze in Fuyuki, and it felt as if it would stay that way after the 94' incident.

However, the story would change.

Ayako's life was thrust into an impossible task of commanding a powerful spirit hero to fight in a deadly war that would mostly likely her own life.

On that life changing night, the moon shone brightly over Fuyuki. The bustling city had settled down to a mellow calm.

Ayako was just exiting a convenience store having gotten a quick meal since she had been returning from a night out in the inner city.

"So cold." Ayako muttered under her breath pulling her coat closer beginning to walk home while carrying the a grocery bag.

Occasional streetlights illuminated the path through the suburbs as Ayako stuck to the sidewalk, a small road on her left that would barely fit a large haul truck headed up at a slight incline.

There was not much on Ayako's mind past getting out of the cold of the night.

It had been a slow week of school, and archery practice was also not the same ever since Shirou had left as he was almost a prodigy, he had only missed once even stating he would but she did not question it much since he had a bone fracture.

A soft blue glimmer then whizzed on the air catching the attention of the archery captain.

Ayako blinked looking for that glimmer again as another trace carried on the air.
