The fall felt like peace.

Like literal, peace.

The wind blew through my hair and felt like a kiss upon my skin.

It was like heaven.

And I didn't want it to end.

My eyes stayed shut as I heard the whispers of everything blur into a blissfulness.

My heart and mind calmed like a forgotten storm in the sea.

In that moment.

I felt more alive then I ever have.

I felt.

Happy.

~~~
As I fell my mind went through my memories like a movie. I watched as my younger self grew up and went through life. I watched the heartbreak, the happiness, and the sorrows.
I watched as I went through my firsts, first day of school, first missing tooth, first drawing and novel, even my first kiss. I watched as I made friends and best friends, I watched as they left or moved away.
A smile formed on my lips.
And tears fell from my closed eyes.
Before I knew it; Everything felt numb.
The world went silent.
Was this it?
Was this death?
It felt so. Empty.
Was there really nothing on the other side?
Was I really a fool?
Wait what is that?
Is it- light?
Am I seeing actual light?..
It's sunlight-
"Ugggh... w-where am I?.."
"It's so bright..."
My body ached everywhere and my head pounded in pain.
I laid on my back facing the sky above me, only then to realize I was surrounded my trees.
They were beautiful.
The sunlight glistening on the leaves and branches. It was a perfect picture to paint.
The dark and light greens of the leaves and the browns and shadows of the bark.
"Pretty."
Sunlight fell like glittering snow, it felt warm upon my skin.
It felt like a blanket wrapped around my body and holding me like a mother holding her child.
It was comforting.
Wait-
Is this heaven?
"Am I actually dead???"
I shot up faster then I should have, my body began to feel tipsy and my head spun making my vision go black.
I swayed to the closest tree and leaned against it trying to get my low ass iron back.
"It's a women!"
My head turn to the highly pitched voice and stood there was a-
"Boy?"
"I am a man! Get it right woman!" He shouted causing my ears to ring violently.
He had dirty blonde hair and a scrunched up face showing he was annoyed at my choice of words.
When I fully looked at him he wore a T-shirt and jeans, he kinda looked like a child.
Then I thought-
"Are you an Angel?"
He looked baffled for a second before bursting into tears and laughter.
I felt so embarrassed because I didn't know what I did or said.
"An Angel?! Ha!" He fell to the ground holding his stomach.
"I am confused-" I hesitated before continuing," Am I not dead?"
"Dead?! Ha! You look shitty but you aren't dead women." He spoke between laughs of giggles.
"Wow thanks on that lovely compliment, but still- that should be impossible." I looked around at my surroundings finally. It seemed like I was in a forest, a big oak forest.
"What should be impossible ?" He looked at me with confusion but I didn't want to explain my confusion either.
"Nothing um?"
"Tommy!"
"Tommy- sounds familiar-"
"Prince Tommy where are you?!"
My eyes widen at the boy In front of me as he screamed at the strangers voice.
P-Prince Tommy????
You've got to be kidding me.
But why does it sounds so familiar..
