"Just call me, The Blade."

I stared at him in awe, and at that moment all of my worries slipped away.

All of the overthinking and heartache I have felt since I arrived upon that hill just, vanished.

It felt blissful.

I stared at him in silence as we continued walking, only for him to break it once more.

"So are you going to tell me your name, or am I just going to call you Miss?" He huffed out.

I smiled slightly before responding," I don't mind you calling me Miss."

What in the world am I saying??

He paused a bit. It seemed like he was thinking, debating.

It kinda felt awkward-

"Just call me Rhysand," I looked away a bit embarrassed from what I said earlier.

Not wanting to make eye contact or- any staring. I decide to look at my surroundings. Probably a good idea since maybe I can get away before this man kills me. Such a great calculated plan.

*cries internally 🥲*

Y/n realized then that they haven't seen anyone since the alleyway.

The buildings seemed old and ruined, some buildings were just that. Ruins.

It seemed so lifeless and forgotten that it made the hairs of y/n arms stand on end. Her stomach turned making her feel nauseous.

She didn't want to die anymore.

Not here.

.
.
.

He didn't even know what he was doing anymore.
Why he was even bringing this human with him, but something about them just felt-

Intoxicating.

His grip tighten slightly on her arm making her wince in his touch.

He felt it.

The fear that tranced her scent felt like a looming shadow. But why wouldn't she be afraid? After all he was taking her against her will.
That's not even the best part, because he didn't even know where the hell he was going.

He hated himself for it.

But as they moved further Into the kingdom he found himself walking towards the old catacombs under the castle.

He would use these old passageways to escape the royal family and the troubles he dealt with up above. He knew every turn and dead end.
Ever smell that wrapped around the tunnels and even the huge room in the middle that connected to every path.

He made a home out of these old catacombs.

It was his safe place.

.

She felt the ends of her hair stand on end, and her head spun with sickness.

She had no idea where she was or where she was going. She had no idea if this man was going to kill her or torture her or if this was was her last day. She had no idea if this was hell or heaven. And it hurt her. It hurt her so much that every time she thought about it she thought of her family and friends. On the life she once had before she took it.

She regretted it so much.
.
.
.
Her stomach ached with hunger and thirst. How long has she been dragged by the arm? It felt like they had been walking for miles.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going?" She spoke.

"Just keep walking," he said in return.

Silence filled the atmosphere till y/n mumbled under her breath.

"What was that? Speak up." The man ordered.

"Uh no. Your not the boss of me," she stuck her tongue out at him before being forced into a halt.

Her eyes widen as her back was forcefully pinned at a wall.

Her back stung with the impact and her arms hanged above her head. Y/n was too stunned and scared to do anything. She looked away in fear as he lowered himself to her ear.

She felt his breathe on her jawline and neck.

It sent shivers down her spine.

"You will learn to listen to me, girl," his voice lowered and became hostile," or trust me I will make your life hell."

His grip on y/n wrists tightened making her wince in pain.

"Do you understand me?" He asked.

She nodded in response, she didn't want to speak. Couldn't.

For if she did she knew tears would be falling down her cheeks in seconds.

He looked at her for a moment, scanning her face.

He smelt the fear off of her, she reeked of it.

Looking at her face he could see the tears forming in her eyes, and he didn't want to look no more.

Turning quickly he grabbed her wrist and made them walk once more.

On their walk forwards he could hear the soft whimpers coming from behind him.

Again that turning in his stomach formed and he hated himself for it.

Or he hated her for making him feel that way.

.
.
.

They had finally arrived at a stop. What laid in front of them was an old wooden door, covered by vines and flowers.
At first glance you couldn't even notice the door that sat hidden from the world.

It was like a gateway to another world.
