At The Beginning, Prometheus. A Titan, Created Humans. In Which Had 4 Arms, 4 Legs, And 2 Heads.
Poseidon Felt Offended, Feeling Out Done. So He Created Large Fish He Named Sharks, With 4 Fins, 4 Tails, And 2 Heads.
Prometheus Saw This And Was Disturbed, Knowing What Poseidon Was Trying To Do. So Prometheus Went To Zeus And Asked If He Could Split The Humans In Half, Creating Double The Humans, And Cursing Them To Find There Other Part.
Poseidon Noticed This, Angered. He Went To Split His Sharks In Half Until He Thought, I Should Copy His Humans, So He Created What He Calls "Mermaids" And "Mermen"
A Human With A Tail And Powers.
Prometheus Was Offended. He Was Stunned And Upset. He Cursed His Mermaids And Mermen With A Brain Effect When They Are Exposed To The Full Moon.
As You Could Imagine Poseidon Was Extremely Frustrated. We Wanted To Be the Best. So He Cursed His Humans With Mako Island. A Comet That Crashed On To The Earth Which If A Human Goes Into The Moon Pool At The Full Moon, They Will Turn Into Mermaids/Mermens.
Prometheus Was Mad, So He Made It So Mermaids And Merman Could Become Humans.
As You Guessed, Poseidon Was Wanting To Kill, So For 6000 Years They Have Been At War.
