With a happy sigh you looked down at the cardboard box in your hands in front of you. Soft noises filled your ears as the creatures inside slowly started to wake up. With a soft giggle you stepped inside of your car, carefully not to shake the box too much. "I'm sure you can keep them occupied and take care of them, (y/n). I believe in you." A blond man said, smirking slightly at you as you raised your brow.

"You know this is the first time for me to have a cat, right?" You said, heat rising in your cheeks as the man bowed forward, almost sticking his head through your open window inside of your car.

"You can manage." He smirked once again and you started your car.

"I hope so. By what you said, they weren't what you could call "friends"." You said, looking back at the now shifting box next to you.  "But I'm glad you thought about me when I found a new home. It's nice to have some animals back in."

Doflamingo laughed next to you and caressed your cheek shortly as you swatted his hand away. "Fufufufufu, I'm sure it is. But with a new house, almost finished with college and now some friends? Your day can't get any worse, right?" He grinned and you knew his eyes shone underneath his pink glasses.

"Right." You murmered, putting your car in reverse and left his place as fast as you could. This man gave you the creeps.

With a soft yawn you made your way to your new home. A real home, not an apartment for students or whatever, no, a home with a garden. Oh, how many jobs you had taken just to earn enough money to be able to buy something like this. Opening the door of the car, you took a deep breath of the less polluted air surrounding you. A smile graced your features and you soon grabbed the box to move it to your new home.

Once inside, you heard a soft mew and a little head poked out of the box you set down on the ground. Its grey eyes trailed over the new area it was in and a loud hiss came from its lips. "Don't like it here?" You muttered, squatting down next to the feline. Its head yanked to watch the owner of the voice and its eyes seemed to widen a little as it saw who it was. A few blinks later, a loud purr echoed in the quite empty room. You giggled and softly caressed the cheek of the black feline that was slightly spotted on his back.

Soon the first little cat was followed by another who's head popped out of a hole on the side. Its ember coloured eyes wandered over the floor to the walls and to the couch. A giggle caught its ears as they flicked to the side. The head tried to move to see the owner of the sound, but soon discovered that he was stuck. Growling and scratching disturbed the silence inside of the box before it moved at the force the little cat used to get out shook the box. "Hey.. Wait. Do I have to help?" You asked softly, trying not to startle the red furred feline. You moved a little to the side so he could see you. His red eyes stared at your feet and as soon as he had stopped his advances to escape, he quickly resumed to force his head out, growling in frustration.

The black, slender feline jumped out of the box and sat in front of the red cat and you were sure it was smirking as he started to lick his front paw. With a sigh you got back to your feet to retrieve a pair of scissors, helping the younger male out of the hole. Soft sounds of your feet announced your return and when you saw the two cats, you giggled lightly. The black cat pawed at the head of the other, making him more and more frustrated. Both heads shot towards you as they heard the sound escaping your lips and the paw of the blank lingered on the head of the red.

A loud growl escaped the lips of the red feline and you quickly sat down next to the box, cutting carefully to the hole. "Please, sit still. I don't want to cut in you, sweetie." You whispered softly as the red cat kept trashing around, his ears flicking and his tail twitching with every movement you made. With a last look from its ember eyes, he suddenly stopped and you thought it sighed as the black one booped his head once again, the red feline glaring at the other.

With a final snap, the head retreated inside and the feline jumped out of the box to jump the black cat. You watched a little as the two cats play-fought and ran all over the place, the slender feline chased by the more bulky one. You shook your head as the red one crashed into the couch as the slender cat slid under your couch and ran off from the other side. "You okay?" You asked the cat and it jumped to its feet, sending you a small glare before giving chase once again. "I guess you are." You muttered, taking the box to take it away from the living room.

When you were away, the black cat glanced over the back of the couch to make sure you were away. "Think we can survive here?" He asked the red one as he jumped on the couch also.

"She has a nice couch. I can stay and you can go, Law." He huffed, prancing on the plush cushion and laid down. Law huffed and send his fellow cat a glare. "At least she was better than Doffy until now." Kid said with a yawn. "That bastard wouldn't even help me if I got stuck. All he would do was film it and let me there to die." Law chuckled softly and went down to paw Kid's head.

"She's back." He muttered as he jumped back down on the floor, walking over to watch you carefully.

You stretched your limps and smiled as your joints popped back in place. "So.. what to eat for dinner?" You muttered to yourself as you took a glance at the clock on the wall. A soft mew sounded from below and as you looked down you saw the black cat sitting at your feet, tail sweeping and his tongue licking its lips. With a grin you crouched down and picked him up. "Want to eat too, boy? Come on." With these words you placed the cat on your shoulder, balancing him lightly with every step you took.

Placing the cat on the counter in your kitchen, you turned to find something to eat in your cupboards. Eyeing the rice on the highest shelf, you climbed on top of the counter and leaned up to grab the package and a tinned can with some fish for the cats. Losing your balance, the rice and can slipped from your grasp as you tried to regain balance by grabbing the shelf. "Pfew." You muttered and looked down to the mess you just made. "Damnit." The black cat placed its butt next to your knee and pawed it, looking up at your face. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." You muttered, caressing the feline next to you which earned you a soft purr. Sighing a little, you jumped down and frowned before cleaning up the mess.

The sound of a crash echoed through the room and you flinched before skidding to the source. Seeing the vase with your "congratulations" flowers laying on the floor next to a shocked red cat, you took a deep breath and glanced at the mess with a frown. "Oops?" You heard and you yanked your head to see the cat comically slap his paw over his mouth. Blinking several times, you shook your head.

"I think I'm going mad. A talking cat, hah, hilarious." You laughed to yourself, thinking you imagined that slipped word and picked up the flowers and glass as best as you could after taking the cat away from the sharp pieces. Taking away as much as you possibly could at the moment, you missed the relieved sigh leaving the black lips from the red cat and the angry glare coming from the black feline.

Almost half an hour later, you were done cleaning up every mess surrounding you and started to cook. Never leaving an eye from your cooking food, you felt soft fur touching your unoccupied hand. Smiling softly to the red feline, you scratched his head lightly and got a loud purr in return before he swatted your hand away again. "Not that affectionate, huh?" You huffed and grabbed a little plate to put some food on it for the cats. Not watching your food for a second, the black cat jumped on the counter and started sniffing your meat before licking it.

"Hey! I wanted that!"

Hearing a yelling voice, you turned to see the two cats glaring at each other next to your pans. Your eyes widen as you stumbled against the counter with a thud. The cats turned their attention to you and the black cat sighed. "Damn it, Kid! Now she knows." You heard him speak and sank to the ground, pointing at the two animals.

"No! No, no, no. Animals can't speak." You took your head in your hands and looked to the floor. "No way." The words left your lips in whispers and the cats cocked their little heads before jumping down and pawing your head.

"Oy! I still want my food. Hurry up." The red cat said grumpily.

"(y/n)-ya.." Law started and booped your arm with his paw. "Hungry." He said as his grey eyes wandered over your face.

"No! You have to wait." You said, jabbing your finger to their faces with a scowl, seeing the cats flinch slightly. With disbelieve filling your very being, you took out your phone and dialled Doffy's number only to get his voicemail. "Damn it Doffy! This isn't funny! Talking cats, really?!" You yelled in your phone, eyeing the cats warily.
