It was stupid to come all the way here, you had realised that a long time ago, but it had become quite evident that you hadn't thought everything through right now. Doffy's laughter was loud, almost cackling like a crazy catlady as several other cats were wandering about, their eyes always straying to the windows, their paws caressing the glass filled windowpane with traces of hope to leave. Your tea started getting cold, but for the love of yourself, you couldn't get the heated water past your lips, the act of picking up the cup and bringing the porcelain to your lips was almost too much to bear. Doflamingo's laughter ceased as he leaned forward, his chin resting on the palm of his hands when he leaned on the table. His shit eating grin was still present as he watched you squirm under his hidden gaze. "Even with how much I did enjoy my last visit and the surprise visits you threw at me, I didn't mean to stay indefinitely in exchange of turning Law and Kid back." Doffy's lips tugged a bit, the reason for his amusements and smile changing a bit at your repeated words.
"That's a shame." He purred, his finger tracing the rim his own cup, his gaze never leaving yours. "I would have loved a new pet as docile and cute as you." You grimaced at him in response, putting down your cup. His smirk was nauseating and you had to supress the gagging. "I'd play with you every single day."
"Okay, so this is going nowhere. You know I don't want to become an animal in your mansion or be bound to you, because no offense, but you're too old for me." He scowled at you and wanted to interrupt you as you held up a hand. "I just want my life back, Doflamingo, and I'd like the same to be for Law and Kid. What do I need to do to achieve that?" Leaving his cup alone, his hand snaked forward, grabbing your wrist. Struggling meant it would hurt, so you sat quietly instead, huffing a bit.
"Are you sure, dear (y/n)-chan? I'd hate for you to die just because your heart is too soft." One of the cats jumped at the table, sniffing the tea in the teapot. "You'd regret that." He almost whispered, his thumb brushing your skin, yet his fingers bruising it. You flinched in response, almost jerking your hand back if his strength wasn't stopping you. "They are gang leaders after all. It's their job to run the underworld. Don't think your nice behaviour would save you from the consequences of the thoughtlessness of your mind." You looked from your wrist back at him, your teeth nibbling your lip in thought. The cat on the table played with the handle of the teapot, whacking it from time to time. "They're not nice, not cute, not sweet. It doesn't matter to them what shameful behaviour they'd displayed when they were your pets, danger flows in their blood." His smirk turned dark, a new glint in the eyes behind his pink glasses, his grip tightening as he started to pull your arm towards him, your bottom losing contact with your chair.
He had been mocking you before, now he's downright threatening you. His face was mere inches from yours, his breath fanning your cheeks, and you could see his golden eyes behind the tinted glasses. "You don't know them." You hissed, either in pain that shot to your shoulder or in anger at the tall man in front of you. His chuckle was dark, the tugging of the corners of his lips never reaching his eyes.
"Trust me, Love, I know exactly what kind of men they are. After all, I'm one of them." Your eyes widened, disbelieve reflecting your emotions swirling behind your lashes as your lips parted slightly. "Oh, I'd love to just make you stay for just this one scene." He licked his lips in delight as he raised you higher and higher, your toes almost losing ground and you looked down just for a split second. A finger trailed over your jaw, goosebumps raising on your skin before his finger stopped under your chin, his thumb rubbing your lip gently. "We take what we want, after all." His face came dangerously close, his hold on your chin harsh.
Sudden knocking stopped his movements and his words were loud in the room as he glared at the door, his teeth clenched. "WHAT?"
As the door opened, a hunched over man walked into the room, the cats scattering away as the man sniffled, his grin crooked. "We have visitors." He chortled, the sniffling of his voice reminding you of an ever sickly person, imaging the snot running down his nose. Doflamingo grinned at you in response to those words.
"You'd almost think they'd try to save you, don't you?" He dropped you to the ground, a sudden yelp escaping your lips as you fell on your butt. The tall man hunched over a bit, walking towards the door and the other man, Trebol you'd realised, with his hands in his pockets. "Oh, I just want to see this. My day has just become a lot more interesting."
Trebol's eyes wandered over to you, his tainted glasses hiding his amused gaze from you. His sniffled never ended as he chuckled lowly, his footsteps shuffling as he neared you. "Hmmm, I wonder what kind of cat you'll turn in." His slimy hand grabbed your jaw, forcing you to look up at him.
Doflamingo looked back into the room, motioning for the both of you to come before he sauntered away through the corridor of his mansion. "Ah yes, young Master." Trebol ushered you on your feet, but you avoided his touch, getting up by yourself. A heavy sigh left your lips when you started to walk after Doflamingo, Trebol hot on your heels and scolding you the whole time for showing no respect for his 'Master'. You felt too tired to care, wondering what kind of story this was turning into. It was simply ridiculous how this was turning out to be.
Doflamingo didn't bother with letting you being dragged towards the entrance of the mansion as you had come here willingly, expressing you'd do at least something in exchange of getting Kid and Law back to human form. The taller male didn't have to look behind him to know you'd follow. Trebol, however, was hot on your heels, almost leaning over you as he watched your expressions when you walked in front of him. His fingers itched to do something when you were proving to get out of line, something to let out his frustration about one or another issue. You didn't give him a chance, though, not trusting either of the men and almost feeling better by being closer to Doffy than Trebol's sniffing. Doffy smirked as he heard you next to him. "Eager, aren't we?" He said, his hand wrapping around your shoulders and pulling you just a bit closer to him. You didn't want to give him any satisfaction but saying something about your disgust for his family would be a graver mistake, so you just hummed softly, no word breaking your lips apart.
When the three of you arrived at the door, you had missed how Doflamingo had ordered someone to grab three bottles of his magical liquid, as you were still in awe of the massive doors that opened almost by themselves when Doffy pushed them open. His hand guided you outside into the night sky, stars flickering from high above. Your eyes went to the cats on the ground and the select people with them. You figured they were underlings from either Kid or Law as you recognized several of them. The cats growled as their gaze travelled from you to the man next to you still holding your shoulder. Killer's hands held a massive gun, as did several others of the group and only now it downed upon you that you were indeed in deep shit.
