robin buckley and nancy wheeler have been together for about a year and they are like TOTALLY in love <3 they have an apartment togther after nancy begged her mumto move into robins apartment, karen often checks up on nancy as she was very reluctant to leave her baby girl. robin moved into an apartment after her abusive stepdad kicked her and her younger sister izzy out. izzy went to live with her dad on the other side of hawkins, and robin moved into an apartment near to starcourt mall where she worked. (for the purpose of this story, starcourt mall was never destroyed ;) )
robin has trouble processing things, due to mainly her autism, robin can get really overstimulated and start to panic and hyperventilate. this is one of the main reasons that nancy wheeler wanted to move in with robin. she loves her and doesn't feel like she can handle some things by herself.
robin doesn't see much of her family anymore. after a traumatic event with her stepdad, she now has a restraining order from him and therefore doesn't get to see her mum or half sister baby beth anymore although they still live in the dodgy part of hawkins. izzy lives with their dad hugo and his lovley wife jane who have twins together 2 year olds ollie and katy. robin often goes over to their house with nancy for sunday dinner.
