Chapter 16

[TIME REWIND] (idk what it's called but the opposite of a time skip)

Perfect! The garden was back to it's beautiful self. I sat there admiring my work when suddenly I heard a low sound of footsteps. I didn't make my knowledge of them known yet. I listened to their every move. It definitely wasn't Techno, these footsteps were too light. Phil would have just flown here. Plus Phil always makes his presence known.

Up until now, the footsteps were hesitant, cautious. It was like they were waiting for the perfect time. Now they were moving at a constant rate meaning they were moving, quick. I had to think of something fast. I didn't have any weapons only a small garden shovel. The footsteps now sounded only a few feet away. I grabbed the shovel and jumped up. I was surprised to find the footsteps had actually been Quackity. I got into a fighting stance in case he tried to do anything.

"What are you doing here?" I asked hesitant to hear his response. "I told you, Pumkin... I was going to come back for you" he says. "NO! I'm not going with you!" Slowly, I backed up. I tried feeling around my thigh hoping I had my hidden blade. Sadly I left it in my room today. "Oh Pumpkin, just come with me it'll be easier" he said in his taunting voice. Did he think he'd just be able to come over here and bring me home with him? As if I was going to make it that easy...

"Quackity, you have put me through HELL! I am NEVER going back with you! Im happy here! I feel safe, GENUINELY safe!" Although I seemed confident it was all a front. I was in no shape to fight him. He was armour, weapons and a shield! All I have is a garden shovel! "Darling~ I hope you aren't serious. I've made a deal with Technoblade he is to hand you over to me" that isn't true! Techno wouldn't agree to that! Right...? 

Yes, we haven't exactly been getting along but he wouldn't just send me off like this. "I know you think you can trust him. But you can't! He hates you! He could never like you the way you like him" Quackity shouted. Every word that came out of his mouth sounded so genuine, so honest. "He's been ignoring you for a reason... he hates you!" A tear slipped from my eye. Everything he was saying sounded so true. "How did you know he's been ignoring me?" I ask trying to refrain myself from crying more. "That's the reason he came to me! He hated your company so much he came to me to get ride of you!" That's it. I was crying.

"I'm not going with you! I don't care!" I shouted at him, tears running down my face. I saw him walk to the side of the house. I followed him out of confusion. Once I turned the corner I was met with an unsettling sight. Quackity had a blade on Technoblade's horse, Carl. He loved that horse more than himself. "Don't you dare hurt him!" I screamed. "I won't... if you come with me. No complaints, no fighting." He says pushing the blade closer to Carls neck. "Okay! Okay... I'll go" I reluctantly said.

Memories of my life with Quackity popped into my head. Those days haunted me. Now I was going to relive it all again. Everyone at L'Manburg must see me as a traitor now. Technically they wouldn't be wrong.

We started walking to what I presumed was L'Manburg. Eventually I notice we are going in a different direction. "Quackity where are we going? This isn't the way to L'Manburg" I tell him. "Technoblade kept you so isolated from humanity, didn't he? I left L'Manburg, started a new country called Las Nevadas" he informed me. Of course another government. That's exactly what this fucked up world needs. "Of course my beautiful girlfriend will have a big job in running the amazing country" he said with a massive grin plastered on his stupid face. "Which is?" I asked. "You need to sit there and look pretty! I've also gotten you a job in the strip club" he winks. Of course he would do that. Fuck. He only sees me as something he can use to lure customers.

After a long time of walking we had made it to a sandy area. I've heard these are called deserts. I don't like it here. We kept walking until in the sky I saw a massive sign which read "Las Nevadas". We must be here.

"Do you like the sign? I made it with my bare hands! I made everything here by myself I had no help-" he started going on and on about how he built this place from the ground up all on his own. I couldn't care less. Zoning out, I looked at the structures in this "country". There was a big tower in the distance. A massive building in the back of the landscape caught my eye. There was also a couple smaller buildings which I assume are shops. I can barely see that on one of the buildings there are posters. I presume that is the strip club seeing as the posters have almost naked women on there.

"-and that's how I made all of this!" Quackity finished explaining, proud of what he had accomplished. All that was on my mind was Technoblade. Did he actually ask Quackity to take me? He knew how much my life sucked with Quackity... why would he do this?

Heyyyy! It's been a while since I posted a chapter so here you go! It'll be the last chapter for a little while since it's my birthday in a couple days! And im going on a trip soon!
