School sucks

"The Irodori Festival is coming up, I'm so glad I didn't miss it." Kuki was walking to school with Itto.

"I know right! You would've but you didn't, that's the good thing. Why didn't you tell me when you were coming home? I was so excited!" Itto shouted and jumped around.

"Meh, it was supposed to be a good surprise. Miyuki wanted it to be that way." Shinobu fwipped her hand up and down.

"I love surprises! D'you have anymore?" Itto asked.

"No, well not right now. But how is school for you Itto? Who are your friends and all?" Kuki looked up at him as they continued to walk.

"Well, you remember Gorou right? Kazuha too? In school we all hang out. Ayato is also part of our gang but he left college. Remember the Arrataki gang though? When we would have endless sleepovers at my place too! And Takuya, he's always so quiet these days. I dunno about Akira and Genta though. After we split to different high schools." Itto shrugged.

"I know right. It's been a while. Genta and Akira still are probably shy babies or something." Shinobu joked but looked kind of serious about it.

"We should meet up now that you're in town?" Itto suggested.

"Good idea, but I have a question...how about that girl you were talking to yesterday? Is she you're friend?" Shinobu indirectly teased him.

Arrataki blushed a bit before flicking back his hair, "We're complicated...I'm positive you guys haven't met though."

"Complicated huh?" Shinobu smiled a bit.

"You could go to the Irodori Festival with her." She suggested.

"She'd never agree to go with me." Itto murmured.

"You have to shoot your shot," Shinobu made awkward finger guns.

"I guess..."

Then at the top of the entrance to school, he saw Gorou, Thoma and Kazuha walking from their estates.

"Hey guys! Kuki's here!" Itto shouted.

Shinobu murmured, "No...I have social anxiety...!"

"No you don't." Itto pushed her towards the guys.

"Hey, what's up? Kuki Shinobu right?" Gorou asked and smiled waving.

"Yes," she answered quietly.

"Ah, we never met, I was in Mondstat when you were here probably, I'm Thoma." Thoma greeted Shinobu and she nodded.

"My dearest salutations to you." Kazuha stuck up a thumbs up.

"He's always so formal." Itto scoffed and laughed a bit.

"N-nice to meet you guys." She waved her hands at them.

"Are any of you guys attending the Irodori?" Kuki took the chance to ask them, as she adjusted her mask.

"I totally forgot about that..." Gorou murmured.

"It would be a good chance to bring Ayaka out somewhere Thoma?" Kazuha nudged him.

"U-uh yeah." Thoma coughed and blushed.

"Do you want to go with us?" Gorou questioned as Shinobu watched.

"Naw, it's my duty to handle the Irodori, every three to four years that it goes on. Well, it's not my duty, but I just volunteered. And this is my first I'm doing it on my own, I'm afraid not as many people will come because a seven teen year old girl is hosting it." Shinobu explained.

"Don't worry...! I have a ton of friends, they'll all come." Itto laughed a bit.

"Hopefully." Kuki nodded.
