The autumn maple leaves slowly descended in the soft movement of the wind.
"It's kind of warm for an autumn day," Yoimiya's hair began flowing in her face as she sat patiently for Kazuha to arrive for their long awaited date. She stood in front of a fountain, holding a pouch in her hand and patiently waiting.
It was one of their first dates, although they had had many other meet-ups before, it wasn't exactly what you'd call a date. Yoimiya and Kazuha would casually watch and light the fireworks, watch movies at each other's place and draw or write poetry in a quiet place, perhaps the parks or in their own rooms. But they hardly ever went out together, despite Yoimiya being such an extrovert.
"Yoimiya, good day," Kaedehara approached her with a peach cardigan on, black turtle neck and jeans. Around his shoulders was a bag, and he had his phone in his hand.
In Yoimiya's bright golden eyes, she saw Kazuha as a beautiful model, celebrity someone absolutely famous. He was definitely out of this world.
Maybe it was because of all the time he spent in Inazuma, maybe that's why he was incredibly different but charming. Yoimiya specifically thought he was...well way too good for her.Just waving made her heart skip a beat, the sound of his soft voice, his red wine eyes blinking, his soft, thick, hair shaking with every step and pretty much everything about him was breathtaking. He could be on Teyvat's cover of vogue if he tried.
"Yoimiya?" Kazuha's tender finger tapped off of Nagonohara's nose, and for a second she stayed stuck in her train of thought, before blushing and looking away.
Even though they'd been dating for a while now, Yoimiya still got flustered. Was that childish for her? Her cheeks would flush a little red and she'd look away. She'd start to play with her fingers an awful lot, and avoid eye contact at all. And she got really conscious, she wanted to know if she was smelling bad or if she had something on her face...she didn't want to bring Kazuha down. She had to many imperfections and were way too paranoid about them.
"Yoimiya...?" Kazuha caught hold of her hands and smiled into her eyes.
"A-Ah, yes?" Yoimiya scratched her hair and felt a little more embarrassed.
"You're blushing." Kazuha let go of her hands and pointed out, "Did I do something to bother you?" He knew his girlfriend got blushy way to easily. Luckily he was able to keep most of his flusteredness inside.
"N-not at all! Why would you suggest that?" She blurted and scratched her hair.
"No reason...is there anything bothering you though?" He looked at her and then glanced at the fountain water.
"Ah Kazuha, always being way to considerate. I'm fine." Yoimiya laughed a little and then grabbed Kazuha's hand, "Let's go ahead and start this thing already!" She jumped a little and then they both began to make their way into Town.
"So, I planned for us to go to a Five Star Restaurant with a waverider. Then after we go to the arcade which was your idea, and after that we can walk around the local park." Kaedehara looked at his phone and stated exactly what he wanted to do.
Yoimiya agreed and nodded to everything he mentioned, "Okay. Let's commence this date." Kazuha felt happy, the day didn't seem like it was going to wrong.
Until they reached the Waverider.
"It looks like they said it's not in service today..." Yoimiya bent down to read the sign stuck on the waverider spawner. Then she stood up straight and grumbled, "That's a bummer.".
"...hmm, well all our plans are on the other side of Inazuma. We could just find a restaurant here though." Kazuha turned and suggested they go back.
When they looked around the locals of the town, every restaurant said they were out of business.
