"Guys I have some bad news guys..." Shinobu grumbled when she came for lunch.
"What?" Itto asked anxiously.
And everyone who was sitting with her eagerly watched.
"The actors for the lovers in the traditional act quit!" Shinobu let down the news. "Now how exactly are we supposed to have an opening entertainment?" Kuki asked.
"Really?" Kokomi said.
"They said the pay was too low apparently." Shinobu replied.
"I know I've asked a lot of you guys already but does anyone know how to act here? Or know anyone in who's in a drama club, or something like that?" She asked, pretty much advertising. Everyone looked around to the empty vast blinks of other's eyes.
Yep, there were no actors.
Except for him.
"Good day," it was a soft sly voice.
Kuki jerked backwards, "It's him...isn't it?" She didn't say out loud but felt her head say it inside.
"Morning guys!" A short guy slipped out of the bush.
"You again?!" She pointed at the young man.
"Heizou?" Kazuha and Gorou both asked at the same time.
"In the flesh," He swiped his shoulders and smiled.
"Remember me, m'lady?" Heizou picked up Shinobu's hand and kissed it before Itto slapped it away.
"You guys know this guy?" He looked at Gorou and Kazuha, then to Shinobu.
"Heizou's always had bad attendence and always slipped in an out from school, it's only natural for him to come out of a bush. We both had Physical Education with him, and I have music classes too." Kazuha explained and Gorou agreed with every word of it.
"Yup, I was the speediest fly in the pack. And who might you be big guy?" Heizou pointed at Itto's chest, Arrataki opened his mouth to say a word before Heizou interrupted him, "Ahh, I know who you are! Arrataki Itto, literally in his last year of school and popular for almost everything really. Known to make a racket in the hallways, haha, nice to meet you big guy." Heizou shook his hands vigorously and smiled. Before pausing and when a hand was placed on his shoulder.
"How- why are you here?" Shinobu asked slowly.
"Inazuma is my home, why wouldn't I be here? Anyway, didn't you miss me? I followed you back to where I thought was home, unintentionally of course." He shrugged and stuck out his tongue at the end.
"So you know him as well?" Yoimiya watched the pair.
"Know me? We were in the same class in the Law School in Liyue. I think she got rid of me being a nuisance, haha." Heizou laughed it off.
"May I ask, can you act? Y-you look like the type of person to be accommodated with such a skill," Kokomi tapped on his shoulder.
Heizou seemed intimidated from the fact they were around the same height but shrugged it off, "Indeed! I went to drama clubs and classes up until well now! That's why I always run out and in of school you know?" He turned to Gorou and Kazuha, then winked.
"If not acting, I would be acting as a Detective. And I'm really good at doing that." Heizou glimmered in the wind as he introduced himself.
"So, can you act for us in the Irodori festival?" Sara proposed. Kujou and Heizou were actually neighbours too.
Shinobu watched everyone in front of her persuade him, she somehow felt flustered, memories of Heizou from Law class flooded into her head, she never even knew when she shouted, "No!".
