"Nails?"

"And here!"

Itto hummed as he made it.

"This is really fun you know?" Itto looked back at Sara who was wiping sweat off her head while trying her best to work on something.

"What if we made a coat rack for your house?" He asked.

"That's not needed Itto!" Kujou rolled her eyes and scowled.

"Hey, it's just a suggestion. If you're grumpy all the time, I won't give you your gift. I bought it with all my pocket money." Itto hit a hammer off the wood and then paused when he heard Sara walk up to him.

"Okay...I'm sorry. Can I have the gift?" She asked stretching out her hand.

Arrataki's eyes lit up and he grinned.

"Don't laugh-" she begun but was cut off by a big hug.

"Hey! Get off me!"

"This was the present! And socks for your feet of course!" Itto exclaimed.

"Don't ever hug me like that again!" Kujou pushed him off and hid her face.

"Why?" Itto turned his head.

"Because!" She shouted and revealed her flushed face.

Arrataki blinked at her.

Why was she reacting in this way, he must have thought.

"I-i got to go, Kuki might be calling me right now." He stood up and walked off.

Even when we were kids he still talked about Kuki Shinobu a lot.

"Why this dream?" Sara asked as she lifted her head from the thick pillows of her bed.

"I hate that memory. It's so embarrassing." She whispered and packed her hair up.

"I'm going out Mom." She left the house early, there she made her way to school for no reason. But on the way she got caught up and found herself at the treehouse even though it wasn't her plan.

"Who's there?" She heard a voice remark.

It was a deep familiar voice.

"Itto?" She murmured in a small voice.

But he didn't seem to hear her and emerged from a bush with a stick to whack her.

It caught her off guard and the stick hit her hard in the head.

"Kujou Tengu?!" Arrataki bent down and looked at her in awe.

"Th-that was a mistake!" He apologised and patted her head.

She didn't react.

"Tengu? Are you just joking with me right now?" He asked.

"Don't joke like this." Itto told her.

But she still didn't do anything.

"D-did I...? Kill Sara?!" His eyes bulged out of his head and he felt his heart burst out of his chest.

Scooping her up in her hands and held her up closely.
