Diamonté's POV

Nanna and I have been on the phone since I woke up. She was telling me about how she went on a date over the weekend. Well she didn't call it that exactly, her exact words were "I just went for drinks with an old friend."

Old friend my ass, Nanna nuh easy enuh.

I didn't bother her much about it I just listened to her as she talked about her Latino 'friend'. If it's one thing I know about my grandmother is that she's gonna find a Spanish man.

I got dressed for the day. Wearing a nude skims set with nude Yeezy foam runners, socks and a brown Gucci crossbody bag. I pulled my natural 3a type hair into a messy bun. I lastly added some Gucci shades to complete the look.

Opening the garage doors I hopped into the mini Cooper and drove of towards Drewsland. I really needed to go car shopping so I typed it into my reminders on my phone. I loved this car but your girl needs space and this wasn't gonna do. I also needed to go car shopping before sandz which is literally just a few days away.

I had so much to get done today and my first stop was handling my father's business.

Driving down the road I spot a couple men sitting on the roadside carefully watching my car as I drive. I parked the car at the neighbours gate and walked up to the house. I opened the grill and stepped on to the verandah to see my father and uncle deep in conversation. I took a seat across from them waiting to be acknowledged.

" Buenos dias Mija," my father spoke.

To di way how the man can speak Spanish you'd think that he's the one with the Spanish heritage. That's just him though, I think he knows about 3 languages apart from English.

" Buenos dias padre y tio, Where are the men?" I asked eagerly.

I had other business to do and so I needed to get this out the way.

"Some are around the back, the others are at the office," Kendrick answered.

" Call dem," my father told to his brother.

When Kendrick left to go call the men my father and I walked over to the carport where there were barrels sitting looking at us.

Kiari proceeded to open all three barrels. The last two had just came in that I sent before I came back to Jamaica.

As the last one was being opened the men walked up to the carport. I then started helping him to unpack the barrels putting the items on the tarpaulin on the floor. When we unpacked everything that was in the barrels we were staring at polo shirts, jeans pants, desert Clarks and ski masks. This was gonna be uniform for the men.

It was a brilliant idea that my father and I came up with. About six months ago he was telling me that the police were cracking down on criminals. Many were being caught and sent to prison, none of which were his men because everything has been calm for about a year now. I thought about the situation and we came up with the perfect game plan.

The police force and government already had their idea of what a typical criminal looked like so my father made some changes in his camp. His men mostly wore semi formal clothing and drove more expensive vehicles. The big plan was for them to wear polo and desert Clarks when they were going on a mission. I mean it's perfect. It's literally hiding in plain sight. Seeing that majority of Jamaica's young men population all dressed the same it would be difficult to identify the men. Not to mention them driving mark x, a crown or axio to get the work done. In the end if push came to shove and they were being questioned for their assets everything would check out because all these men were employees at one of my father's companies.
