2 Months Later...

Giannis POV

I roll over in my bed, laying on my back as I stare at the blank ceiling. I've been trying to sleep for the past two hours with no avail. All I've been thinking about is Diamonté and how I haven't seen or heard from her in two months. Two months, five days and  seven hours to be exact.

I hiss my teeth and sigh.

Wah di f*ck she do to mi? I question myself.

With my tired body I urge my self to get out of bed and to go find my phone. After making my way downstairs and towards the kitchen I spot the phone on the island next to a finished bottle of D'ussé and a packed fill ash tray.

Picking up the device I immediately go to my messages and open her chat reading her last message.

"I had a great time😊"

So wah di fuck this then?

I run my hand down my face as I stare at her response.

Something must be wrong because ain't no f*cking way she just ghosted me and disappeared into thin air.

I really didn't want to resort to invading her privacy but a man's gotta do what he's gotta do.

Fetching my MacBook from the couch; I sit around the island as I light up a spliff and get to work.

Maybe she found out who you actually are and she doesn't want to be around you, my subconscious intrudes my thoughts.

That's impossible, there's no way.

I know that I was extremely careful with my words and actions unless I have a spy or somebody inna di camp inform.

For their sake they better hope it's not the latter because any informa a get dirt.

Dem Betta know.

I begin accessing some files and I see that she haven't been attending any of her classes since the start of the semester.

Something is definitely wrong.

"Yo Flamez," a robust voice calls.

"Inna di kitchen," I respond to whomever.

From around the corner came Xavion strolling over to me with a smile plastered on his face.

Well at least one of us is having a good day.

"You look stressed bro," he says touching me on my shoulder.

"Everything gov Mon," I nod.

"Well you look happy so wah gwaan?" I ask as he takes a seat beside me and I close the laptop.

"Just a come back from a doctor's visit wid Kerry and we get fi see the baby and ting," he beams.

I'm glad they were both able to settle their difference and come to a mutual agreement of them co-parenting. She wasn't open to the idea at first and wanted them to remain a couple but I'm glad Xavion held his ground and laid down the rules and boundaries.

"Oh and we find out is a boy she having too," he added.

A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips, "That is it my bro," I pull him into a brief hug.

"Suh wah gwaan fi you?" He questions.

"Just living life bro," I take a pull from the weed.

"Good while now mi nuh see u roun suh or any Weh fi dat matter suh sumn must up," he states concerned.
