No foreword of the chapter for this one except this: All thoughts from now on are in Italics. Sorry if that caused confusion for people!
As soon as Keefe stepped into Furniture is not Torture, he was greeted by a mob of people. Not a pleasant way to find this blocking you at the entrance. Amy was right. This store is packed times the weight of Verdi in milligrams (A/N METRIC SYSTEMM). Keefe thought. When the wall of people cleared, he saw carpets hanging from the walls, sofas and armchairs in every corner (A/N I'm thinking HomeSense in Canada but even more quirky terms of lots of items), and nightstands and vases and curtains and everything a person could even want for their house.
"Alright Amy, what do we need. You're the master of this operation." Keefe declared, flashing half a smirk.
"First, the basics. A bed. I'll take you to the section and you pick which one you want. Make sure it's not too expensive, so you have some money left for other things." Amy suggested.
They walked to the bed section where there were about 50 beds lined up. They walked along the row of beds until Keefe found some things he liked: A bed with small, dim lights along the side with silver sides, a sturdy but comfortable wooden bed, and a bed with golden sides. He settled on the one with lights, which surprisingly wasn't too pricey. They picked out a white nightstand with light blue knobs, a small table, two comfy armchairs, 2 lamps, some light bulbs, cutlery, plates, almost one of everything. When they set the small things down on the table whatever where you pay and called someone over to help with the big things, the cashier said, "Are you kids sure you have enough money?"
"We do," Keefe said, as he pulled a wad of 100 dollar bills. "And she's helping me a bit!" Keefe gestured to Amy.
"Yeah, he's my friend's brother. He was moving in nearby and I'm good at designing things, so I decided to help him." Amy said.
"Alright, off you go, kids.", the cashier said.
"Wow Amy, that was a good cover story." Keefe said.
"Thanks! I'm just cool like that." Amy declared.
Okay, late update. Sorry!!! But trust me; if you were me, you'd be overwhelmed. My birthday is coming up on July 30, so yeah. SOOOOO MUCH WORK my room and closet are still a MESS from all the boxes from when we moved back in April. APRIL and we still didn't unpack 75% of our stuff! Anyways, thanks for reading this chapter and reading my rant!
